Dear Yogis,

Maybe it is time for me to change…  I have given most of my adult life (and my house) to yoga, but I doubt that it is serving me well at the moment the way that I am doing it.  So I am taking time to think about it.

Many of you are voting with your feet (it is the Australian Way),  and anticipating that when you are ready I will be sitting in the middle of the room waiting for you to do yoga.  Well, maybe I won’t, maybe I will be sitting in the middle of the room meditating – here or elsewhere –  and NOT waiting for you to come to yoga, and just doing yoga for those who want it.

Last nite I dreamed that I went out to class and when I came home the yoga room was totally empty, even the rug had gone.  There was a little note left on the carpet that indicated that everything had been taken for cleaning and mending and would be returned shortly in good condition, even the lining under the rug.  Everything had been removed –  the carpet cleaned the walls parking and the windows cleaned.  All the props, gone.  it was refreshing.   So there is change in the air and I am ready for it.

Here I sit doing the newsletter, which few of you believe you have the time to read and hardly anyone responds to, or even say Hello.   As I have said to you all many times….  Doing the same thing and hoping for a different outcome is the way to madness. My friend Uranda spent 10 years giving his lectures to his horse as no-one wanted to listen, and then someone did and his classes began – same with Prabhupada.  I have always thought it is a matter of holding the space.  Maybe there is a different way to hold it.  I am waiting for the “aha” moment.  I anticipate another 30 years, but not 30 years of “hoping” for an outcome –  I have always been pro-active, and that has not changed.  However, if I don’t hold the space, will you hold the space for your group, your family?  We teach by doing.  Coming to yoga, reading the newsletter, responding,  is all about holding the space.  Do you?

THE TAROT – The is the card I drew today.  What Ace of Swords Means for ME (YOU) Today

The Ace of Swords has appeared to show you that a new perspective or some kind of sudden realization is likely today. This can come to you as an ‘aha’ moment where your subconscious feeds you the answer to something,  after you have quit thinking about it. This sudden stroke of genius often feels exciting and empowering but can also be the first stage that leads to over-thinking. Thoughts are useful only when they are under our conscious control, so don’t let this influx of energy get out of control.
