We don’t do many short courses, because you can’t learn “short” yoga.  It is a lifetime profession – a ‘calling”, for those people who are dedicated to serving their communities.

We do have on-going education courses that you will find on our web site  These little courses are meant to be done as electives and additions to your present yoga studies – they are not meant to function as an easy way to get a yoga qualification.  I love yoga too much for that.

An option if you have already achieved your 200/350 hour course,  is to do one of our POST GRADUATE courses.  The 500hour course or a course on REHABILITATION AND RECOVERY – Yoga for those people who want to work with addicts in recovery.   The latter is wonderful and it works.  Either one is by application only, so please keep in mind these are an important step and not to be done on a whim.  I need students with a special dedication.

If you would like to contribute to our work, but are not in the position to take a class, or join a group,  then please log on to and assist in a concrete way by making a donation.  The GITAJAIA YOGA FOUNDATION is the non-profit arm of The Australasian Yoga Institute.  Every donation over $75 will receive a miniature angel painting  by Jahne Hope-Williams.
