THOUGHTS FOR TODAY

The picture to the left is the cover of my newest DVD (still in “production”). I have wanted to get around to you all, but the Angels have been pushing me in other directions, so I think that this guided DVD will be a better option. Then you all can understand how the actual cellular structure of the body is working with you to produce the yoga and the life that you want. Of course, you have got to want a new life, or you have to know what you want your life to look like BEFORE the universe can produce the goods so to speak. So spend some time searching, thinking. Life will help. A good question to ask is “what was I doing before I was 6 years old – what did I have FUN doing?”. For me it was teaching. I am still the same. I get heaps of fun out of teaching. I also loved to draw, and I still find enormous pleasure in doing this.

I am about to take another left hand turn into drawing (left hand because it will be very precise – very analytical). I am preparing my mind for the steps it will require, the monk like isolation, the discipline (and the JOY). Wait till you see the next phase in my life. Start saving up now to come down for my next exhibition. I will open my studio when I get enough done that I am happy about.

With regards to my tiny works – the tarot, which were a precursor to the new work I will be expressing. I have found a good printer and a scanner. Bartn’Print in Bendigo. I was told by many people to watch out because people of this quality can really charge over and above. But these guys have given a very reasonable price considering the work that they do. I am happy. They are going to re-digitise my originals, not just scan. All is well.

Last week I visited Crusoeden health and yoga (the are one of our most active Affilliates), to help them officially open their new yoga room. I never thought of their original room as small, but against the new one, it is. Perfect for teacher training classes. Do drop in, they have done a fantastic job. They are in Church Street in Kangaroo Flat, Bendigo. A short walk from the station. The address is listed under training lower down in this newsletter. Tomorrow I am picking up a bread board memento they have made for me from the off cuts of the beautiful woodwork. What a lovely thought. Thank you.

DNA/TCELLS/BLISS

Every day I teach from this new point of view, and I know it will totally change the way you meditate (and do yoga). I will be doing some seminars for Yoga Australia in the new year. Look out for their advertising to let you know where I am – if I haven’t let you know. In the new year I will also be speaking in Melbourne CBD, Perth, and Brisbane. Of course Sydney when we get a venue. I depend on you leading and me following regarding visits, so if you don’t express a need, then I will go where people have gotten together enough to request a visit.

Thank you for all those students who have downloaded my booklet and DVD about the Cerebro Spinal Connections. This is only the beginning of the story – but most essential. You have to start somewhere, and the beginning is a good place. Please, teachers, catch up by getting these books, reading them and reflecting on your practice.www.myyogabooks.etsy.com. THEY ARE JUST THE BEGINNING. Come to Teacher Training when you can. The next weekend class is the first Sunday in December, and we have a weekly class at 12.30 on a Wednesday – but this is only for one hour.

Teacher Training? Just in case you haven’t seen any reference to it – and someone said I never write about it in the newsletters – obviously a person used to the computer ‘grabs’ of information. You have to read this newsletter! ….. 1st Sunday in the month between 2 and 4, every Wednesday at 12.30 and philosophy on Saturday morning at 11.30.   AFFILIATES and those who would like to be. Teachers! Please give this some thought. If you would like to Affiliate and start teaching teachers (you need to have graduated), then please email me and we will arrange a visit – or a chat depending on where you are of course. If you have a studio, it’s your next step.
EMAIL:

Please use the email address yogafirst@optusnet.com.au for anything to do with accounts, or the usual yogafirst2@bigpond.com. To get to me. If you do want to speak to me personally, then email, make a time suitable for both of us, and then we can chat. If you do it this way, rather than just “wing it”, you can be reasonably sure I have time, and you will get my attention. POSTAL ADDRESS is not at my home – small mail box out in the open means that rain is an issue. Please address all land mail to the address it has always been – PO Box 14, Mt.Macedon. Vic. 3441. Until you see a change written here in large letters, that is where it will be.

PLEASE COLLECT YOUR MAIL PROMPTLY….

Please make sure you visit you local Post Office with your COLLECTION SLIP in hand if you are waiting for items from us. Items waiting for collection are sent back to us. This incurs double postage – nothing you will want to do with today’s postal charges.
PHONE:
I have a new landline. 0354 274 383. But I prefer that you leave a TEXT for me on0402 088 170. (or email me directly at yogafirst2@bigpond.com) Thank you.

HYPERMOBILITY AGAIN.   The book and the DVD are available via ETSYwww.myyogabooks.etsy.com The more that I do in this field, and the more that I think about it, the more relevant it becomes to all of you. IT IS AN ESSENTIAL PART OF RESTORATIVE YOGA THERAPY – the course. INSURANCE
PLEASE NOTE: If you are not teaching then there is no need for insurance. If you are teaching then you will need to be registered, and get insurance.

INSURANCE ALTERNATIVES. We are no longer closely involved with our teachers with regards to insurance…. AJGallagher seems to be the only one who will insure students who have not graduated but are teaching. However, we have made an alliance with Dancesurance. They appear to insure students (trainees not yet graduated) cheaply, and, if you have a studio, they are really the only ones who insure this with understanding. If you are a student MAKE YOUR STATUS CLEAR, if you don’t, and need to make a claim, you may discover (too late) that you are not covered.

RESTORATIVE YOGA THERAPY INSURANCE: Dancesurance and AJGallaghers have both come through with a specialist insurance for our Restorative Yoga Therapy graduates. They can add this special insurance on to their ordinary insurance AT NO EXTRA COST. They have examined the course, they have looked at the caliber of the students going through, and made their decision. All you need to do is to supply a copy of your registration when you apply.

We worked hard to get to this point – but it is much better than I could have expected. So thank you Dancesurance. (Students – You can deal with them direct).

Why Register with THE AUSTRALASIAN YOGA INSTITUTE?

PLEASE, PLEASE CHECK YOUR REGISTRATION. You need to be currently registered for your insurance to be valid, and you will need to supply a copy of a valid registration to be insured. Please check your insurance requirements – keep up to date. They change quickly.

REGISTRATION – CONTINUING EDUCATION REQUIREMENT

From NEXT MONTH, we are going to fall in line with other organisations and ask people who are registered with us and wish to re-register to do at least one short course in the year as a continuing education requirement. I have been shocked by what teachers THINK they know, and teach from there. You need to keep up. You can do one of my little courses on ETSY, or someone else’s, doesn’t have to be onerous, just something to keep you on your academic toes so to speak.

RESTORATIVE YOGA THERAPY

To complete Level.3. the students need to apply and do the theory and exam. Those who have not done Teacher Training with me, need to do the full level 3 Exam and assessment. see the site www.restore.moonfruit.com. You may not pass the assessment first go – It is like teacher training. It takes small steps, module by module. Fewer modules, but more complex (for both of us). I will be announcing more about this POST GRAD program in the next newsletter. Those students who have done Restorative Yoga Teacher Training to Level 3 and graduated will get this diploma. Those who did the course very early on, you will have to do Level 3 in order to get the POST GRADUATE Diploma – lots has happened since you did the course.

Those people who have attended all workshops, completed the exams satisfactorily and graduated from all parts of level 3 (prior to October 2017), and come to the Sunday Teacher Trainings, will be deemed to have completed the Graduate Diploma in Restorative Yoga Therapy (and more). It is a big course, and at the end you will have almost done a Doctorate yourselves. You certainly will see yoga and teach it in a totally different way to any other teacher. I call it “QUANTUM YOGA” (“Quantum” meaning multidimensional, not as it is often portrayed in yoga as dynamic sequencing).
