  MERRY CHRISTMAS
Thank you all for your wonderful support (and hard work) this year….                                                                         Hats off especially those of you who have returned  to study after many years.  I know how hard it is, and without exception you are all doing splendidly.  Our courses are not easy, but then again, at the end you will have a qualification you can all be proud of.  Nothing good comes easy as they say.  Just do the best that you can, and know that it is my job to make sure that you pass – and I will. I hope that you all have a wonderful family christmas – I know it is going to be a fantastic NEW YEAR.

Please note that there are no public classes over the Christmas break (although we are still doing our classes with the residents at The Bentinck – no change in times there).

First Class for 2015 – Saturday 10th January at 10am There will be some extra classes in the new year.  Brad’s class will keep going, Joam will be taking                        classes on Fridays, and David haines will be coming back to us – so PLEASE READ YOUR NEWSLETTERS to keep abreast of any extra classes.  My own classes will just keep on keeping on….I hope you all come home to yoga – I miss you. 
  NEW YEAR PRICES…..Cost:  $10 per person per class (or $100 a 12 class pass:  non–transferable).  $15 mum plus little yoga bub. $20 per family (mum, dad and two primary school children.  Young adults $10 each).  (Ex-Residents of Innisfree, and visitors charges as above)      Enter from the Romsey Road Junction with High Street Woodend – the start of the Romsey Road.   Over Christmas Deb will be out of the office.  So if you want extra modules, re-subscribe to                     videos, organise a payment plan or any of the many things that Deb does for us all – then you may have to wait now until after the hols.  I will do the best I can – but Deb is the Registrar.   I will mostly be around, but not always available.   If you want to speak to me, email first to make a time that is suitable for both of us. This is always advisable.  I am extraordinarily busy, and Deb is only here on Tuesdays and Wednesdays, so don’t just ring and expect us to be waiting.  We love to hear from you – and I love to chat.  Make an appointment and we can spend time – no hurry.     JANUARY TEACHER TRAINING …..WILL BE ON  11TH JANUARY 2pm TO 4pm – it is a Sunday as usual.

OUR SCHOLARSHIP/MISSION FUNDS Over the years, with your help (all the 8 hours+ community service) we have donated almost a million dollars (yes!!!  $1,000,000) to our various communities, in time, scholarships, donations, free classes, free consults etc.
 
You will be pleased to know that there are only ONE of the Angel paintings left. They are healing icons, and are especially suited to therapy rooms. To see some pics go to www.ministryofyoga.blogspot.com      Thank you to those people who supported us AND CONTINUE TO SUPPORT US,  in our efforts to raise money for bandages at the hospital in Honduras (my sister is a missionary there). If you can send us some more dollars, please do (talk to Deb on Tuesdays or Wednesday to arrange). We live the yamas, so,  you will know the money will go to where we say it will go, and be used for what we say it will be used for.   Photos of the mission where we send bandages: www.flickr.com/photos/amigasdelsenor      1000 “OMS” Having completed the “1000 ANGELs” Project, I am now starting on a new Project to raise money for our various causes.  “The 1,000 OMS Project”.  I have only just started working on the OMS and they are selling before I have done them.  So if you want one, just let me know.  Otherwise, wait for them to go on the Web, or attend a showing (you could also commission something special).

Why do we choose to be miserable?  Is it because we want to be accepted by our peers or our civilisation?  Do we really need to win the approval of strangers in order to live among them?  
THE FORGIVENESS BOOK

 THE BHAGAVADGITA (YOGIC PHILOSOPHY) COURSE FOR THE NEW YEAR….. 
A fabulous text which is at the heart of yoga.  You won’t really understand yoga until you immerse yourself in this study (which is optional).  There are no modules to return – this is a personal practice.  However, if you want a certificate, then you will have to do an assignment at the end of the assigned course time.   If you would like to know more, please contact me on yogafirst2@bigpond.com

This year we will be offering it in a booklet which you can do at your own pace.  In the past we did it as an 8 week course, so a slight change which will take the pressure off I think.   I will put it on easy, and you can get it from there.  Those who have flagged that they want to begin will be contacted by Deb when she returns.

“BAGS OF LOVE”

As I said above, my gardens are producing more than I can easily harvest.  Every nite after yoga I am there, picking, picking about a kilo a day! This provides the berries, herbs and greens for the winter when nothing is available.  It is just beautiful.  Thank goodness I have an elf to help out.  Forget the goodies under the christmas tree, this is far more valuable to me. 

  YIN YOGA/ANATOMY/MEDITATION DVD’s – all with Paul Grilley THE NEW SHIPMENT HAS ARRIVED.  They are the best and will form the backbone of your yoga references.    As I have told you before when I bought mine they cost $100 or so each.  I thought that this was a good investment. But we are selling it for heaps less than that – about half depending on your postage www.yogabeautiful.com.au
