The YOGA LUNCH IS COMING UP ON SUNDAY 25TH… JUST AN HOUR OUT OF YOUR MONTH TO TOUCH BASE WITH US.

OK yogis.  I hope that you are all enjoying the beautiful weather – it makes everyone feel that they want to get back into their yoga.. which is a blessing.  Fantastic catch ups with students/graduates coming back for refresher courses, paintings sold, cards sold and tarot/numerology readings booked.  Over the past week I have been to the Stupa and updated my work there, sumi cards,  and works  referencing the Dalai Lama.

Last week I spoke to you about the economy and hoping that you would bring your yoga sensibility and positivity to the current situation.  I have, I have changed the way I work and am moving and swirling with every change, and here I am still with you.  People coming back to yoga and FOUR paintings sold in the last two weekends.

 

Yesterday I dropped in to the end of the Kerrie Hall Art Show.  It was hung very well, although now I have seen the watercolour exhibition at The Mount Macedon Gallery, I can see that hanging multiples on a wall can be done with integrity, and still feel spacious.  It was very interesting at Kerrie because while paintings were coming off the wall they were still selling.  I am sure there was a surprising upsurge sales in the last hour or so.  As I have learned in the last couple of exhibitions I have done DON’T take your work down too soon.  You can miss good sales!  Leave your art on the wall until last – there is less competition and people with money in their pockets looking to spend!

I have also done a few darns as you can see if you have been following insta.  Lovely holes in beautiful fabrics, and now an antique shawl.  As usual matching wool to the article is the hardest aspect of a mend now there are fewer wool shops we can visit to get the perfect shade.  If you have a beautiful garment with nasty holes and want it mended I can help…email yogafirst2@bigpond.com

 

YOGA –  WHAT’S ON…..

YOGA LUNCH at the VIC.  12 noon SUNDAY 25TH OCTOBER.  Mark it in your diary.

WAMM – The Woodend Art Market.  You will need to pop in and enjoy the vibe,  and as far as I can tell it is on Saturday 24th October 10 am to 2pm.  I will be there.  I will be taking bookings for tarot and numerology.

MONDAY:  Hatha yoga 10.30, Restorative yoga 1pm, Zoom 6.30.

WEDNESDAY: Chair Yoga 10am Here at the studio.  1pm Studio Restorative Yoga as usual.

FRIDAY:1pm Studio Yoga – new time.

DROMKEEN – An ongoing exhibition of a range of my work throughout the year, plus I will be working there as “Artist in Residence”  over Christmas, every Saturday and Sunday afternoon –  demonstrations and sales. Do drop in for a chat.
