Dear Yogis,

We have gone from a newsletter every day during Covid, to once a week now.  As few have even commented I doubt that you have noticed, however, I miss writing to you.

We are stuck in the depths of winter and cloud here in the Macedon Ranges, the light is dim, and the rain is drifting sideways across the houses whilst the clouds hang to ground level.  I am told by the Irish that this is good for the complexion – I think I would prefer some sunshine!

With the weather as it is, writing to you is a good thing, although I made some gluten free cheese, and bread this afternoon, and then went on line and requested a paper census form as my computer suggested that the privacy may not be up to scratch.  Getting this was so easy, and now the ball is in their court – they have to send it, the post office has to deliver it, and it has to arrive.  Then I get some time to complete – much more convenient.

My baking.  The cheese I made in the thermomix was simple and easy, but I tried a new bread recipe.  I think I will keep to my own which is easier, more adaptable, and I have been doing it a long time so I can whip it up almost automatically, and it is gorgeous.

YOGA:  In the last few weeks I have had two things happen.  I have had graduates contact me for copies of their graduation certificate.  Some of these students have not contacted me for 19 or so years, neither have they ever registered, and get annoyed when I charge a small admin fee to cover the cost of going through the archives (paper ones), and then sending and in some cases posting.  It has been a recurring theme.  I wonder why some folk presume that this workman does not deserve to be paid.  If it wasn’t for our Institute they would have been unable to get their teacher training qualifications, that alone is worth something I would have thought.

TAROT:  Fantastic clients, amazing messages and a satisfying way to work.  I have been doing Gracie (my cat’s) tarot.  This has been hugely helpful, and she seems much calmer, and so do I,  now that I know what is going on for her.  I don’t know why I hadn’t though of it before.  In the UK and Europe it is not an unusual thing to do.  I just hadn’t heard of it.
