REGARDING THE OFFICE:
If you want to speak to office staff or me, we are available at odd times, but you can book a time. To Talk Money/Accounts, speak to Jacky on Wednesdays at 9.30 to 1’ish. To get help directly from me, I am always available on the email and am not always at my desk. Don’t hesitate to email me and I will answer your email or text as soon as I can. PLEASE DON’T RING ON THURSDAYS– it is my day off, and if I sit down at the computer the day just disappears, and I work right through. I am sure you understand. There is always lots to do. Jacky is coming to terms with the phones, so on Wednesday when I am not there try 0354 273 518… or email.
Christmas – Jacky is going to the USA for a week and this Wednesday is her last day . So if you have a money issue ring her on 0354 273 518 on Wednesday between 10am and 12pm. She might have an issue with you – so she is going to be on your tail. Get straight before Christmas. Just because you have Christmas expenses keep in mind we do too. Your training agreement did not say you get a holiday with the modules or the fees over Christmas… so pay attention to the YAMAS. Keep firm with your agreement with us.

WITH REGARD TO STUDENT INSURANCE AND REGISTRATION:
This is not a right, it is a great privilege. And it CAN BE awarded under very specific conditions.
- That you are current regarding your course payments
- That you are sending in your modules regularly to achieve your full teaching qualification
- That I am comfortable that you can in fact teach (and it is not just about asanas)
- And that you agree to teach only what has been taught to you to the date of getting the insurance.
I have brought some anomalies to the attention of the insurer. We are having a conference call on Friday, and I might take the opportunity to go to their Queensland head office over the Christmas – just to get the best benefits with the best safeguards. The student insurance is just that STUDENT insurance, you are not able to behave and teach like a graduated teacher, and the Student Insurance is going to reflect this VERY VERY clearly.

YOUR MODULES
You are not doing me a favour when you do this course and do the modules! I wrote the course, and I am constantly working to make it better for you. I know what the answers are– you have to go look and find them. This includes the illustrations. Yes, you can do “iffy” illustration, you can justify not really trying by saying drawing isn’t part of yoga – but understanding IS. Sometimes students say that Yoga isn’t spiritual YES IT IS. If you don’t want to really get into yoga, if all you want are the asanas– then precious ones, you have chosen the wrong teacher. Live by the Yamas.
If you have signed up to do this course, then you have signed up to do it my way and the way of the YAMAS. I know what it takes to get through and keep excited. *Don’t KILL your opportunity by hiding from the truth – *Don’t STEAL time and waste energy looking for excuses why you can’t do something – *Tell the TRUTH, and don’t try and cover your “I can’t” (I won’t) with excuses – *Use every minute as an opportunity TO WALK WITH GOD (Brahmacharya), respect me and yourself by doing your best– and *Don’t take more of my time, and your space than you need looking for ways to get out of doing things that underneath you know you can do.
This is not just a yoga course, it is a course in personal Development. Use it. Learn from it.
I love you, I support you, I accept you wherever you are. I am for you.
I try to imagine life without being able to speak to God, but none of the days without that special energy have the same laughter, or opportunities…..
CLASS TIMES
$10 per class or 11 classes for $100 (save $10 = one class for free)
Enter through the Romsey Road gate, and park either side of the drive.
No need to bring props – mats etc unless you want to – everything is provided.
Monday: 6.30pm Hatha
Tuesday: 10am Restorative, 7.30 Hatha with Nic
Wednesday: 12.30 Hatha, 5.30 Restorative, 6.30 YIN
Friday: 5.30pm Meditation, 6:30 pm Hatha Yoga
Saturday: 10am Hatha, and 12.30pm Restorative
Sunday: 4.30pm Restorative (a gorgeous class and a lovely end of the
week indulgence).
NEXT TEACHER TRAINING CLASS
The next will be on Sunday 4th December, 2pm to 4pm (followed by restorative yoga at 4.30) at the Bentinck – in the Yoga Room. Please join us. If you are a distance ed. student then the cost of the afternoon is $10. If you are a visitor you are most welcome – and if you are not formally a student teacher with us then the cost is $20. We have had the most wonderful trainings, there is nothing like them. Please do come.
CHRISTMAS /SCHOOL HOLIDAY SESSIONS
We will be closed from the 23rd of December to the 3rd January (first class on the 4th). Apart from that the classes will be as usual. There will be a $100 unlimited class pass that will apply from the end of the school term 19th December to the start of the new school term 26th January. If you don’t have a pass, each class will be $20. This is an expensive time of the year, students ask me to be open, say they will come, and don’ – but my expenses don’t stop. At least in this was I will know that there is a guaranteed small income. Your usual class pass will be held closed for these dates and can be used again in the new year. You won’t lose any time or money.
GIFT VOUCHERS

HEALING SESSIONS
I am an “ overcomer”. I believe in healing. I believe healing can happen up close and at a distance. If I reach out and touch you, it confirms to you that there is no distance. Touching you transfers blessings to you. There is power when you lovingly touch and embrace
… massage and heal.
We have had some amazing healings to date, and in personal consultations there are times when I am able to see the past life originations (not all the time). I personally do PPT Massage, Herbal Raindrop Massage, Relaxation Massage… I am oldish, I have taken on many trainings and done hundreds and hundreds of massages….heaps. If you would like to come, look at the yoga timetable and make an appointment before or after the yoga times. Give me a couple of options just in case I am busy. I can do a beautiful massage and a healing together or just a healing. The healings are by donation. Massage is $95 per hour or $50 per half hour.
I can do the massage at The Bentinck, or in my fabulous Studio. The Yoga place in Morris Road…. I can see the massage table from where I am sitting right now. The windows beside the table look out over the garden. It is truly beautiful. Come and experience it with me.

LYONVILLE YOGA
The Yoga Shala in Lyonville is an Affiliated School with The Australasian Yoga Institute. It is not easy to get this Affiliation, and we are so pleased that they have embraced our ways and moved forward holding hands with us. Our ways are not easy, and Francis and Fabio have taken up the challenge.

GARDENING
My beautiful garden is just bursting with energy. However, the garden spirits and me been disturbed by a development that is going on a few blocks away from me. In one house the person had 6 workers in, and put in a ‘MAC-GARDEN’ first slicing back every living thing from the garden that was growing. Every time the nursery does this I am sure it looks the same. Hygienic/neat. The dirt was cleaned and replaced with designer mulch, turf was rolled out, neat designer trees were planted. This ‘vogue’ garden replaced a wonderful wild and fruitful orchard. A garden alive with flowers, herbs and fruit.
Beside this perfect little box, a number of units are being built… to do this some magnificent old trees were brought down – killed.
This destruction had been going on for two days with the biggest tree. First they ripped off the lower branches, then they sliced the higher limbs and left it there bleeding sap all Sunday. This morning they came in with saws and spent the morning slicing into the magnificent trunk. There was enormous shot and quake as the tree eventually came down. When they tractors go I will go in and pray for the trees and the spirits of those magnificent majestic trees… What has been done is terrible. The developers have been doing this all around me. I cannot leave my ground… I have to stay for my garden – I am the only one who can save the trees I have planted.

ESSENTIAL OILS
If you do massage, or like using essential oils in your studio or home, I have a wonderful supplier, and I have been buying oils in bulk and can now on-sell them. They are not watered down, but neither are they hugely expensive. When you are dealing with the MLM’s then you are paying multiple commissions, for me that doesn’t apply. I am selling beautiful oils at good prices. I will put a full list in next weeks newsletter, but if you have special needs – or are looking for special oils, let me know. Of course if you want rare absolutes (like Pink or White Lotus for instance) it will be much more expensive, but they will be pure, and they will be the best price I can do. yogafirst2@bigpond.com
THE OILS – I can get most that you might want. Let me know what you are trying to achieve, and I will have the oil that can help you. If you feel like doing massages that is OK, but I have been watching a few tutorials, and what people will say to sell oils is flabbergasting. Like – if you massage a baby with oils and the skin goes red that is great – the toxins are being released. No, the toxins are not being released, the baby’s skin is too delicate for essential oils…care is essential no matter the mage of the client.
I do a beautiful herbal oil massage – take the time to come visit – you will love a massage in my studio.

They are the best and will form the backbone of your yoga references. As I have told you before when I bought mine they cost $100 or so each. I thought that this was a good investment, and I still do. We have had to increase the price TWICE – everything everywhere is going up, and we have held this price for a number of years. Now. $57.50. At this price we are accounting for currency increases and decreases, and they are still cheaper than I paid for mine initially. Look at Ebay – everyone is about the same. At twice the price they were still worth having. With Christmas coming, please order yours today.
