REGARDING THE OFFICE:
If you want to speak to office staff or me, we are available at odd times, but you can book a time. To Talk Money/Accounts, speak to Jacky on Wednesdays at 9.30 to 1’ish. To get help directly from me, I am always available on the email and am not always at my desk. Don’t hesitate to email me and I will answer your email or text as soon as I can. PLEASE DON’T RING ON THURSDAYS– it is my day off, and if I sit down at the computer the day just disappears, and I work right through. I am sure you understand. There is always lots to do. Jacky is coming to terms with the phones, so on Wednesday when I am not there try 0354 273 518… or email.

WITH REGARD TO STUDENT INSURANCE AND REGISTRATION:
This is not a right, it is a great privilege. And it CAN BE awarded under very specific conditions.
- That you are current regarding your course payments
- That you are sending in your modules regularly to achieve your full teaching qualification
- That I am comfortable that you can in fact teach (and it is not just about asanas)
- And that you agree to teach only what has been taught to you to the date of getting the insurance.
UNTIL YOU ARE GRADUATED AND IF STUDENT INSURANCE IS GRANTED YOU CAN ONLY TEACH TO THE POINT THAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT. YOU CANNOT TEACH FROM YOUR OWN HISTORY. IF YOU HAVE A PROBLEM WITH A CLIENT AND YOU HAVE BEEN TEACHING FROM YOUR OWN SYLLABUS – OUTSIDE OF WHAT YOU HAVE BEEN TAUGHT IN THE COURSE… YOU ARE NOT COVERED BY OUR INSURANCE.
I re-iterate, the student registration and insurance is a privilege, and it is not a right and it is not automatic. It took us years to achieve for you and I have been disappointed by the careless way some of you have approached your studies and your school. Please honour it and honour us by adhering to the requirements. Keep in mind that your insurance can be suspended if I am in doubt about your suitability to teach.. Yoga is not fitness. There is more to it than asanas, anyone can teach asanas. It is the WHY we do what we do that is important.
YOUR FILES
It is a job that is going to take a long time…. But, I am catching up with your files. It appears that quite a few of you have been allowed to join the school WITHOUT completing the full enrolment application forms. When I discover this to be so, I have to ask you to fill the gaps otherwise you don’t comply to the requirements, and we can’t graduate you until the file is complete. I can assure you that the accounts are all fine. We know who you are and we know how much you have paid, and you may have been receiving modules
… it isn’t until I look deeper that the missing pages become evident. It is not your fault, it should have been followed up as you enrolled, but Debbie was so pleased to hear from you she didn’t. I would like to take this forward, but I can’t let it slip. Thank you to those of you who have responded to my request so graciously so patently. I appreciate it.
One of my students reminded me this morning that everything has a reason. I think the reason for this is so that I have to go back, re-acquaint myself with you through these files. It has been lovely to speak with you. It is amazing how wonderful how life can be if we just decide to go deeper to what we sense in the spirit. Thank you

YOUR MODULES
Your modules are getting better all the time. I think that its because you are taking your time, reading the instructions, reading the questions properly, and generally feeling more confident. This is not a Doctorate you know!
Please understand that you are not the only person on the course – NAME, MODULE NUMBER AND PAGE NUMBER ON EVERY PAGE SENT TO ME PLEASE. I READ and mark each module, from every student and I do it myself. That’s a lot of reading and lots of writing from and to a lot of students – and assures the personal touch that you signed up with us to achieve. PLEASE HELP ME by numbering each page you send me, and putting them in order. Make sure all the pages are there, no drawings missing. If you are a “12 page plus drawings” type of student, then post them.
I try to imagine life without being able to speak to God, but none of the days without that special energy have the same laughter, or opportunities…..
CLASS TIMES
$10 per class or 11 classes for $100 (save $10 = one class for free)
Enter through the Romsey Road gate, and park either side of the drive.
No need to bring props – mats etc unless you want to – everything is provided.
Monday: 6.30pm Hatha
Tuesday: 10am Restorative, 7.30 Hatha with Nic
Wednesday: 12.30 Hatha, 5.30 Restorative, 6.30 WARM YIN
Friday: 5.30pm Meditation, 6:30 pm Hatha Yoga
Saturday: 10am Hatha, and 12.30pm Restorative
Sunday: 4.30pm Restorative (a gorgeous class and a lovely end of the
week indulgence).
NEXT TEACHER TRAINING CLASS
The next will be on Sunday 4th December, 2pm to 4pm (followed by restorative yoga at 4.30) at the Bentinck – in the Yoga Room. Please join us. If you are a distance ed. student then the cost of the afternoon is $10. If you are a visitor you are most welcome – and if you are not formally a student teacher with us then the cost is $20. We have had the most wonderful trainings, there is nothing like them. Please do come.
CHRISTMAS /SCHOOL HOLIDAY SESSIONS
We will be closed from the 23rd of December to the 3rd January (first class on the 4th). Apart from that the classes will be as usual. There will be a $100 unlimited class pass that will apply from the end of the school term 19th December to the start of the new school term 26th January. If you don’t have a pass, each class will be $20. This is an expensive time of the year, students ask me to be open, say they will come, and don’ – but my expenses don’t stop. At least in this was I will know that there is a guaranteed small income. Your usual class pass will be held closed for these dates and can be used again in the new year. You won’t lose any time or money.
GIFT VOUCHERS
Vouchers are available (all year) for $100 or $50 class passes, and massage $95 one hour or $50 half hour. Please contact me and we will arrange it. Email yogafirst2@bigpond.com
HEALING SESSIONS
Don’t forget to make an appointment for a DISTANT HEALING, HEALING or healing MASSAGE. The HerbalRaindrop is fantastic, Bowen if you have a bad back, Relaxation Massage if you are tense and anxious. You can choose.
I am an “ overcomer”. I believe in healing. I believe healing can happen and that distance is no barrier to the Spirit world (it has happened for me, my children, my students and my friends – even when they were reluctant – over and over). Spiritual healing can be given to you no matter where you live. DISTANT HEALING from spirit as understood and practised by me is achieved by positive prayer, constructive thought and co–operation with those on the other side. WRITE TO ME – Before I even get your letter, before it is even read, the thought vibrations are picked up by Spirit who already know of your request for help. Healing can be given at any time of the day or night, asleep or awake. It is important to remember that your regular reports are the healing link between us. You only have to write a couple of lines, only about the problem not about the circumstances and history. Write to me.
Please send a stamped addressed envelope (if you live in Australia) so I can reply to you. International clients – send postal coupons which are available at all post offices throughout the world. Remember: Spirit healing is not regarded as medical aid according to the law. I do not promise cure. All I can do is my best – who can do more? God is still in control, there is a plan. (You better have an anchor which is bigger than the news).
Distant healing is free but we do accept with gratitude free-will-offerings and donations which go towards expenses… and the time spent on each.
We have had some amazing healings to date, and in personal consultations there are times when I am able to see the past life originations (not all the time). If you would like to come, look at the yoga timetable and make an appointment before or after the yoga times. Give me a couple of options just in case I am busy. I can do a beautiful massage and a healing together or just a healing. The healings are by donation. Massage is $95 per hour or $50 per half hour.

The Yoga Shala in Lyonville is an Affiliated School with The Australasian Yoga Institute. It is not easy to get this Affiliation, and we are so pleased that they have embraced our ways and moved forward holding hands with us. Our ways are not easy, and Francis and Fabio have taken up the challenge.

GARDENING
I have been having such joy sitting by my pond (with my back to the weed patch behind me there). It is such a wonderful eco system. Algae, plants, irises, frogs, tadpoles, little families of fish, dragon flies, bees, all kinds of bugs and beetles… A good thought – no matter how disturbed the surface of the pond is, the water underneath is calm, untroubled. The cat and I just sit and relax in this peaceful place. For bee persons, the bees are looking good and coming in to land at the hive with the most amazing load of pollen. Did you know that bees shouldn’t be able to fly? According modern physics and to the laws of aerodynamics the wings are too small for the size of the body. Thankfully the bee doesn’t know this and flies anyway.
Everything will change for you when you work out that there is plenty of time in every day to complete the important things.

ESSENTIAL OILS
If you do massage, or like using essential oils in your studio or home, I have a wonderful supplier, and I have been buying oils in bulk and can now on-sell them. They are not watered down, but neither are they hugely expensive. When you are dealing with the MLM’s then you are paying multiple commissions, for me that doesn’t apply. I am selling beautiful oils at good prices. I will put a full list in next weeks newsletter, but if you have special needs – or are looking for special oils, let me know. Of course if you want rare absolutes (like Pink or White Lotus for instance) it will be much more expensive, but they will be pure, and they will be the best price I can do. yogafirst2@bigpond.com

They are the best and will form the backbone of your yoga references. As I have told you before when I bought mine they cost $100 or so each. I thought that this was a good investment, and I still do. We have had to increase the price TWICE – everything everywhere is going up, and we have held this price for a number of years. Now. $57.50. At this price we are accounting for currency increases and decreases, and they are still cheaper than I paid for mine initially. Look at Ebay – everyone is about the same. At twice the price they were still worth having. With Christmas coming, please order yours today.
