Dear Yogis,
On Thursday I went to the new Alexander McQueen exhibition at the NGV with my son Jesse and his wife Alana (they invited me – rather than the other way around – we all love the art of fashion). I love fashion and this was a marvellous exhibition. Do go see it.
I hold the Valentino exhibition in Queensland to be the best fashion show that I have ever seen, and this ran a very close second. I was interested to see how he took ideas from other designers – especially Vivienne Westwood, and of course the marvellous Diana Vreeland.
(Jesse is visiting from Vancouver, and I have also been able to meet Miles the latest addition to the family).
YOGA FOR DISABILITY COURSE
I have got the course together and am ready to give you the thumbs up… The HOW-TO was finished today and if you want to see it, email me. and I will send it to you. We are all wanting to expand our studios and earn a more reliable income and this is the way. Maybe you are all independently wealthy! I am not…When designing a course that reflects this community, I look for stability, consistency and consistency of income. Are you listening?
No-one else is doing a course, or concentrating on the Disabled community (except in India, where there is one teacher that I know about). We are PIONEERS (again) working towards being able not just to teach but also to train.
Looking at the course, and the price. I am including Compassionate Companion Graduates as well as our yoga teachers – they will all get a special price for the course, also teacher trainees who have not finished their exam (or course) as will graduates. Whatever the cost of the course, I am considering the following discounts – COMPASSIONATE COMPANIONS 20%, TEACHER TRAINEES20% – GRADUATES 25%.
To be recognised, You will need to train, then register, and registration will be the same cost for everyone $75 for one year. It will not be added on to your usual yoga teacher training registration, although if you register and pay for both at the same time you will get a discounted price ($165). You will get two certificates, not one. You will be able to add Disability Yoga to the yoga teacher training insurance with AON at no extra charge as far as I can tell.
