Dear Yogis,

I have decided to go back to my DAILY covid posts with a difference – I am going to draw a tarot card EVERY DAY, relate it to my life, and wonder how it relates to yours – you can always draw one and let me know what your draw is, and how it has changed your day!

Today – Five of Cups.

It looks like The Hermit card,  but look more closely, it is not – but you are most definitely alone, making your decisions on your own. The person in the image stares down in despair at three cups of wine, completely oblivious to the two that remain behind them,  upright

It could be that you have experienced a profound loss in your life recently, not difficult in this post covid community. This could be the loss of a relationship or loved one, or perhaps a business opportunity or lifestyle. Often, the Five of Cups appears when you have experienced a metaphysical loss: of trust, of optimism, of dreams and ambitions. Yet the message of the card is crystal clear: all is not lost – in this loss you must find the glimmer of hope,  there is always a light opposite the shadow even if it is not apparent at first. You can find the positives and cherish that which you still have. Look for your blessings in places you wouldn’t normally think to, and the Universe will provide them trust her.

This is so relevant to me.  I am moving into new fields, not letting the yoga go, keeping in mind that yoga has been the central point in my life…. but being nudged (pushed) into opening myself to new opportunities in the tarot.   Is this happening for you?  No matter where I go, when I mention the tarot, people warm up, open up, and become clients – the universe taking care of me.  If you remember the Church told me a couple of years ago that my “gifts were not required”.  They have recently changed their mind, and I have been welcomed back (one of the two upright cups?). Once again the Universe taking care of me.
