Good afternoon,

Have been slaving away, and still have not done a big newsletter, so thought I would remind everyone of these two things… and the real newsletter will go out tomorrow.

  1. HOLIDAYS:  The school holidays are nearly here.  The last classes of this term will be Saturday 29th June.  First class of next term – Saturday 13th July.
  2. SHEPPARTON:  I am holding a Masterclass in Shepparton on the 23rd of this month.  At the Carrington Hotel between 2pm and 4pm.  Please come, and bring a friend. The cost $20 for the two hour Masterclass. The Carrington is a favourite of mine, and I am looking forward to being back there.  The topic will be THE YOGA OF HEMP. The relevance of the Endocannabinoid system to EVERYTHING yogic.  It will cover Hypermobility, the CSF, and of course how to stay well healthy and happy.  See you there.

Namaste.  Jahne

I have nearly completed part one of the YOGA OF HEMP Booklet.  It will be loaded in the next day or so.

I also completed a youtube video on hemp (and a video on Passive Income!)  Watch them. Google “Jahne Hope-Williams YouTube and subscribe”

Since I began taking hemp, I have become passionately fond of unflavoured hemp protein powder.  It is protein and omega packed, and I am feeling great – as are students giving me feedback…
But you asked about me…  what do I eat.
Before breakfast (because winter is here) a tonic for my immune system I make with herbs, chilli  and vitamin c.
Breakfast: A savoury dip made of 1 tablespoon or so (or more) of the best hemp oil, 1 heaped teaspoon of hemp seeds, 1 crushed clove of garlic and a slurp of good balsamic vinegar, all eaten by dipping about 1 slice of full grain bread cut into pieces.  I usually lick up anything left.  I have this with  brewed cocoa nibs (like coffee in a french press).
Lunch in two parts:  1.  A thick green aromatic dip of my garden herbs, hemp seeds, hemp oil, garlic, chilli, hemp powder all blended.  Dipping bread – home made pitta cut and backed into small biscuit size pieces.
Mid afternoon:  2.  1 heaping tablespoon of muesli with added nuts and dried fruits, hemp powder – all drowned in orange juice (or beetroot juice) and sesame milk mix.
Dinner:  Steamed vegetables, plus dessert – a home made fruit icy pole – (and a glass of wine or champagne)
Before bed:  a cube of home-made hemp gingerbread and a cup of hot milk tea (or decaf milk coffee)
I drink lots of water about a litre and a half a day, plus tea, coffee.
Thats about it.  It makes me feel good, my poop is beautiful, my skin is plumped and great, I have heaps of energy when I need it, and am deeply calm.
Hope you get some ideas.  You can see that Hemp is at the heart of how I eat.  It has made a great difference.  It is the deep calm, and a feeling of being really healthy and ‘all is well”.

ATTENTION ALL WHO HAVE NOT WATCHED THIS …..This is a wonderful, wonderful GREAT BELL CHANT, by Thitch Nat Hahn.  Pay particular attention to his walking meditation. That is how I would like you all to practice.  Looks easy – but notice he is doing it on a busy sidewalk.

HYPERMOBILITY AND HEMP

I am still excited about the possibilities of hemp to your practice and your life.  I know how it has affected me.  The latest change that I noticed a few days ago (wasn’t paying attention) is to my skin.  I had patches of Sebboreic Dermatitis on my body.  I had been to the doctor on a number of occasions and they suggested some high strength drugs which I wasn’t happy with, so I just put it in the “too hard basket” and apart from occasionally using a moisture cream, did nothing..  nothing changed.

Long story short – my skin problem is almost vanished.  Just one small patch left,  the size of a freckle.  The hemp is the only thing I have changed…  it is fantastic.

I have spoken with manufacturers and producers, and they reminded me that this hemp I use isn’t strong in THC.  It could just be that the high levels of omegas, protein etc is what made the difference.  Whatever it is, I am good with that. I feel fantastic, calm, grounded, ready for what is next.

Both hemp and Marijuana are considered Cannabis by genus and species, but that is where the similarity ends.  Marijuana (Cannabis Indicus) has been cultivated mostly for its recreational value although it does have medicinal usage, and decades ago hemp (Cannabis Sativa)  although not hallucinogenic,  got dumped under the same heading.  It is amazing how scared people are to use it.  They both join with and support the body’s endocannabinoid system.  You may not have heard about the ECS, but it is a major system which sits alongside the other 11 major systems.  It is the most exciting medical topic, and will now get lots of air-play.

Cannabis in all its forms was not able to be researched until they were taken off the illegal lists in most countries.  They are still regulated, but they can now be studied.   They excite me because of the way that cannabis sativa supports the ECS and its use supports and regulates hypermobility syndrome – it is complex of course.  Whilst not a magic bullet, it can help us work with and  minimise the internal symptoms.  Come to Shepparton and learn more. Or go to our YouTube channel.

MASSAGE:  I love anything hands-on, and now I have the hemp, I will be using the creams and balms in my massage consultations.  I know how they have worked with me, and I know they will work with you.  The brand name that I am working with at the present time is ROYAL HEMP.  You can google them

 TAROT:

We have loaded the new 13 onto the ETSY site.  You can purchase the small deck, the original deck, or get the combo.

Plus: If you want a workbook encompassing both the original deck, and the new 13, it is on the ETSY site, and ready to go…. There are also ready-to-frame cards. See them on the You Tube Channel together with our FREE Tarot Course.  Google “Jahne Hope-Williams YouTube” and please subscribe.
