The Community Classes at the Church are getting bigger, the classes at the studio are attracting back students who dropped off during my time at The Bentinck.  So thank you to everyone.

Teacher training on the first Sunday in the Month was thrilling as usual.  Thank you to everyone who came after lunch on Fathers Day.  I have to keep it at a stable date because switching it around doesn’t change anything.  It is about your attitude to teacher training, not the date.  It can be done.  I have had people decide not to be teachers because they could only attend one teacher training.  I suggested to them that if they could only make one day in one month of the year, perhaps teacher training was not for them.  Teacher training is about putting students and yoga first.

I do get disappointed when I hear that students who have started our course, and perhaps found it harder than they anticipated (without asking for help) drift off and do a 200 hour quickie course – it is even more disappointing when they are able to be taken seriously, and get registered etc by one of Australia’s leading organisations, in spite of the fact they may have done almost no philosophy at all.  They have registered a yoga gymnast, not a yoga teacher.

I am progressing well with my BUDDHA PROJECT.  A Buddha a day.

Have you heard of the Mogao Caves.  I have been totally inspired by this amazing world heritage site in China.   Mogao is a group of ancient caves which were built and decorated in different dynasties over 1,600 years.  There are 735 caves with more than 45,000 square meters of murals and 2,415 sculptures. As well as the art, 50,000 written documents have been taken (perhaps “stolen” is a word that could be used) from the “Library Cave” mostly by scientists from Europe.   UNESCO listed the caves as a world heritage site in 1967.

As I am painting a BUDDHA A DAY in the BUDDHA PROJECT, all of these sites are interesting to me.  It is not just doing a painting, well, not for me.  I like the project to expand in all directions, and introduce me to new and wonderful images and sites around the world.

These are MINIATURES.  You can tell the size in comparison to the smallest watercolour tubes. About 15mm in diameter .  Each one is different, and all painted on A5,  300gsm watercolour paper.  The paper you see in the photo above is A5.

I am also teaching painting.

Tuesdays: 7pm to 9pm Mandala Painting on wood, $250 for 5 sessions,

 Saturdays 9am

This is the traditional painting on rice paper.   Grind the ink, use the brush, paint the painting….. Sounds easy, BUT as in yoga, the foundations are everything.

The latest exhibition is on the walls now at RED Restaurant in Woodend  An exhibition and sale of the original tarot cards, matted, mounted and framed. This cannot be repeated. If you are unable to come to the show, and would like to buy a framed card, you can, just let me know which is your favourite card and I will put it away for you – all $175 plus postage. You can come and collect it, or I can post it – although they are framed, so not inexpensive to post. Call me to register your interest:

Please… if you want a session, WE CAN DO.   Even at a distance. We can identify additional minerals and supplements, balance your diet, test for food sensitivities…. Health, business whatever. $55 one question, $75 two questions $150 for a general life reading for people who are stuck. All prices are studio prices, extra for travel). On the farm I never made a change without dowsing first. If you want to see if it makes a difference go see what the farm has become without the magic of dowsing – it is a dying jungle.

If you want a life reading, your house made well from underground streams or geopathic stress, or want your garden explored for sculpture, rock or major tree placement sites… I can help you.   I now consult with my friend assisting.  Please… if you want a session, WE CAN DO.   Even at a distance.

Monday morning I spent time between classes helping clear a backlog of donated op-shop items at The Uniting Church.  It may not sound like fun, but it was, it is.  It is also a very good discipline in “things”.  When you first start sorting there are things that looks good.  By the end, you realize how lucky we are –  just don’t want or need anything. If you can donate time at your local op-shop, then do.  It will help you as well as The Op Shop.

I write books to help you in your course.  Please download them, and then please use them in answering your modules.  Please never imagine that I don’t read your modules – I do.  If you misquote, I will pick it up.  What will you find on ETSY?  YAMAS, CHAKRAS, HYPERMOBILITY, THE FIVE TIBETANS AND TEMPLATES and more.  There are lots of books there to help you in your progress to graduation.  If you do your course WITHOUT reading the hypermobility books, you will find your work being questioned.

PENDULUMS/TAROT/TAROT POUCHES: I have done the photos, I just have to load them.  They will be available on ETSY as soon as I can load them up.  ETSY is like a shop.  If you want to best prices, the best items, you have to drop in often.

EMAIL/POST:  Please use the email address  for anything to do with accounts,  or the usual to get to me.  If you do want to speak to me personally, then email, make a time suitable for both of us, and then we can chat.  If you do it this way, rather than just “wing it”, you can be reasonably sure I have time, and you will get my attention.  POSTAL ADDRESS is not at my home –Please address all land mail to PO Box 14, Mt.Macedon.  Vic. 3441.  Until you see a change written here in large letters, that is where it will be.

Don’t forget to Register if you are teaching even if you have not graduated (especially if you have not graduated), insure and re-subscribe to the videos every 12 months.   Don’t leave these to the last minute.
