AS I said last week. There are heaps of changes. Mainly we have departed the Bentinck after about 6 years there, and another 4 working specifically in Rehabilitation from Substance Abuse with Innisfree (the cream of the crop with regards to rehab.)  It is amazing how much you can accumulate in that time.

I told you about the move – I sent a newsletter to classroom students, I put a notice on the yoga studio door, I spoke in class, I sent out a hard copy newsletter, and still people come and say “I went to the Bentinck and you weren’t there!  Where are you”.  And they do that whilst standing in front of the notice on the door.

Below the photograph is of the studio, and the Buddha I have painted purple.  After 25 years  “The Blue lady” totally shattered in the cold.  I have repainted the little sign on the plinth, and hung the Prayer Flags.  I am so thrilled about the studio and how it is looking.  We have the side entrance with the Japanese walk, tomorrow the new lighting is being organised, and everything looks amazing..  It is like I always thought it could be.  I just would like it to be a bit bigger, but maybe that is in the future.  When I was in San Francisco at The Golden Gate Yoga Studio, Chai Tea was always available at the end of class.  In Spain at our sister studio there,  everyone met for Tapas afterwards…  We have honey kombucha, gluten free polenta cake, and dried apricots and pears.  Wish you could be here.   All we need is you.  ART AND YOGA.

SUMII PAINTING – SATURDAYS: 2.30 to 4.30.   This is the traditional Brush painting on rice paper. Grind the ink, use the brush, paint the painting….. Sounds easy, BUT the foundations are everything.COST: $175 for 5 classes.

I plan to organise an art show at REDS  for the students who have gone through our painting classes.  The works is worth it – you are worth it.

The art show went well, and we even received have some donations towards the Foundation. Any amount will help, no matter how small.

Please come to the show,  drop in to Red Restaurant next to the Commonwealth Bank in Woodend.  please buy a painting. It all goes to The Foundation.

I started doing tea leaf reading again at the Art Show. I had forgotten how much I like this connection with people. It was great fun and I will be doing more. If you would like a reading please email me and organize a time around my yoga teaching time.

I have read tea leaves for years, (my mum, my aunts, all read tea-leaves too),  but I have slowed down over the last 12 months… I will be appearing regularly at REDS in Woodend from Sunday 12th August at 2pm.  If you want to speak to me about the art being exhibited, or come to class, or have your tea leaves done at that time – I am yours.  I am also available to read the tea leaves any other time in the week and weekend when I am not teaching.    The cost of the reading – $85 for about 40 minutes which will encompass a review and one major question.  I also use the tarot in my readings.  Which one?  My own of course – The Revelation tarot.  The photo below.  Recently I found a new printer who updated the printing technique which resulted in a gorgeous silk finish.  This printer also professionally cut the corners, which has made an amazing difference not just to the quality, but also to the time it takes me to prepare a set.

Hope to hear from you soon.  For more information about Tea Leaf Reading go to  or for any enquiries about yoga or art (or readings)  email me at

I write books to help you in your course. Please download them, and then please use them in answering your modules. Please never imagine that I don’t read your modules – I do. If you misquote, I will pick it up. What will you find on ETSY? YAMAS, CHAKRAS, HYPERMOBILITY, THE FIVE TIBETANS AND TEMPLATES and more. There are lots of books there to help you in your progress to graduation. If you do your course WITHOUT reading the hypermobility books, you will find your work being questioned.

PRINTS: HIGH QUALITY Prints of my artwork will be available on etsy as soon as they are available, and on my new art web site when it comes on line.

EMAIL/POST:  Please use the email address  for anything to do with accounts,  or the usual to get to me. If you do want to speak to me personally, then email, make a time suitable for both of us, and then we can chat.  If you do it this way, rather than just “wing it”, you can be reasonably sure I have time, and you will get my attention.  POSTAL ADDRESS is not at my home – Please address all land mail to PO Box 14, Mt.Macedon.  Vic. 3441.  Until you see a change written here in large letters, that is where it will be.

Don’t forget to Register if you are teaching even if you have not graduated (especially if you have not graduated), insure and re-subscribe to the videos every 12 months.   Don’t leave these to the last minute.
