Dear Yogis,

Classes started back yesterday.  The most important thing I can say to you all is this.  PLEASE READ THE NEWSLETTER AND WEB SITE.  Everyday during covid I have written a newsletter so that you can keep up with changes …  So many of you don’t read it and are surprised by changes.  Here are the important bits.

THIS APPEARED ON THE WEB SITE starting in March (it is now November) and was echoed in the newsletter during the lockdown.

“YOGA CLASS COST:  NO CASUALS AVAILABLE AT PRESENT.
TEN CLASS PASS MANDATORY:  $185 for a 10 week pass for new students, and $155 for a 10 week pass for students who have been consistently  been our students for approximately 3 years or more.  Class passes means  10 consecutive classes.    For us to be here for you, you have to be here for us – you will need to be committed.  Pre-Covid unused class passes still valid until expired but remember, they are consecutive.  If you miss a booked class, you will still be docked on your card for that class”.

HERE IS AN IMPORTANT CHANGE – I NEED YOUR HELP AND UNDERSTANDING…
Last week I visited my accountant.  He laid out the facts to me that to this point I have disregarded, but I can no longer afford to do so.  If you have paid no attention to what I wrote before covid, or what I wrote during covid, I HOPE YOU WILL READ THIS.

I cannot afford to keep on subsidising yoga classes – I am not a charitable institution.  With the rest of the world (and the rest of the district) charging $25 an upwards per class, I have to increase my charges….  Few teachers in Australia have more experience than I do, and I am charging less than a beginner, when I have only 3 people in a class until after covid eases off.  You are getting almost a one-on-one class.

From Saturday the 7th November, the cost per YOGA CLASS (STUDIO OR ZOOM), will be $185 for 10 consecutive classes.   As much as I would like this not to be so, I am sorry, there will be no automatic concessions. This is still less than most yoga studios.

I have tried to assist you all during this difficult time – now I need your attention, and I need your understanding.

I WILL (HOPEFULLY) SEE YOU ON THE MAT.

NAMASTE JAHNE.
