Dear Yogis,

Just a FRIDAY CATCH UP – I tried to get it out in time, but the power went out, so my best efforts were scuttled.  I really must get a battery to link to my solar.

Our zoom class is doing well.  We are 5 weeks into working on out Divine Purpose.  I think we have all learned HEAPS.  There is one, maybe two lessons to go – depending on questions.  We only have an hour on Mondays, and the same core group come week after week.  Thanks gang – NEWBIES ALWAYS WELCOME!

Talking about Gang (or Sangha).  The same group register year after year.  This time I am going to sweeten the deal.  If you register (or re-register) with us this month, and if you pay $10 postage I will give you 3 months FREE MANTRA MAIL CLUB.  (if you have paid your rego plus Mantra in the beginning of the month, I will give you an extra 3 months) Email me for your application.  yogafirst2@bigpond.com.

Every month for three months you will receive a print of one of my originals (see my instagram account) a letter, this month a book mark and yoga quotes and an exercise or two, and a sketch,  a recipe for the botanical I have illustrated – but not stickers and spam.  I want to include things that will be useful and informative, plus – I have to be sure the envelope is not too fat for the post office measuring slit(!), because they already cost $1.70 and it could go up to $2.30 if there is too much in the envelope – who makes these rules? They just want to phase out post altogether – I don’t want them to phase it out, I like getting letters.

The next MANTRA MAIL CLUB mail out is on the 15th April.

Dear Yogis,

ART:    I have been drawing, drawing, and have worked with things I started some time ago – an image of my Rhododendrons, and they were very beautiful this year.

This drawing (muti-media)  is made on a canvas 8inches x 8 inches, so quite small but not a miniature which has to be no larger than 4 inches square.  I think it will be put on line for $210 which includes packaging and posting.  Prints will be available for $110 which will also include postage and packaging, with the artwork ready to frame, posted flat with a core board backing.

And, I sold another painting on Friday – I wish I was charging thousands.  I used to but I am not there yet this time around.  When prices go up and they are, it takes the value of everything up with it.  So thank you to all those who have invested in my work, it will be worthwhile.  I just have to keep painting and selling!

YOGA:  I gave a free pelvic/core class on Saturday with the emphasis on balance and strength.  It was really worthwhile and built on the classes I gave during the previous week.  I just needed to push it that little bit further and spend the whole hour just on one thing.  I am sorry I could not accommodate all of you! it would have been most worthwhile.  I probably do it again when I have time.
