This class is yogic philosophy, but we do discuss how we can use it in everyday life – much the same as Michael Roach did when he translated the DIAMOND SUTRA, and published The Diamond Cutter, so we could all bring the philosophies into the everyday (and make a million dollars as he did!)

 

Keep in mind that this Thursday is our usual YOGA LUNCHEON.  I do have a few who have RSVP’d.  I have sent out a notice.. If you are a “regular”, because it is the School holidays, I would like an RSVP please.  Everyone is welcome.  Thursday 29th September,  12noon, The Victoria Hotel in Woodend.  We started a bit prior to covid, kept an on-line presence during the lockdowns, and now everything is open and easy, we are trying to keep going.

Fees FROM 3rd October (new term) $220 per term.
Monday – the 1pm class ONLY deferred until term 4 (re-starting 3rd October).  This hopefully will allow everyone to take care of families and school holidays for that 1 hour per week.
Monday 2.15 class as usual
Tuesday 1.30 Teaching at Windarring
Wednesday 1pm Hatha and 2.15 teacher training as usual
Friday 2.15 as usual.

PRE-CHRISTMAS, OPEN STUDIO: 2to 4pm, Saturday and Sunday 22nd and 23rd October and 2 to 4pm Saturday and Sunday 26th and 27th November.  Put it in your diary now – you are all welcome.  There will be some changes in the Studio, and I will have lots you can choose from… Stocking stuffers, and major purchases, even repurposed, updated clothing now I have a lovely dress form.  Certainly there will be bears and dolls both large and small – no, my blue velvet bear is not for sale….. neither is my little Steiff-like lion, although you can take turns cuddling them.

 

MEDITATION IN EVERYDAY LIFE – A WORKSHOP.  “COMING TO OUR SENSES” – SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER, 1.30 TO 4PM.  (Maximum of 8 students.  Cost:  $25 – Early Bird, before the 15th October $20). If you would like to join us, please let me know.  We can take an afternoon away from the world and work on this.  It is not a dour, hard, zen workshop – it is a STUDIO (NOT ZOOM) workshop of experience. .  We will start with,  “COMING TO OUR SENSES” – SATURDAY 15TH OCTOBER, 1.30 TO 4PM.  (Maximum of 8 students.  Cost:  $25 – Early Bird, before the 15th October $20).

 

****I WILL BE AT THE ART GALLERY at MT.MACEDON (next to The trading Post)  8th and 16th October from 10am to 1pm.  Please come at these times if you would like to meet me, chat, see the dolls and other things… It is a beautiful little gallery.

NEW – SATURDAY STUDIO BOTANICAL ART CLASS: “GIVE IT A GO” with Jahne.  4 x 2 hour classes from SUNDAY 9th October, 2.30pm to 4.30 $75 for members of The Botanical Art Society of Australia, ($85 non-members). Location: Woodend, Victoria.
