Hi there Students and teachers…

I know you were hunting around for a Christmas present for me – well, put yourself out of the misery, I have decided…  I would like to have a super terrific class on January 6th.  No latecomers, no-one coming saying they didn’t know it was different AND THIS ONE WILL BE!  Put it in your diary as “Jahne’s Christmas Present”

For the January Teacher Training we will be revisiting PPT MASSAGE in two parts as a part of the Hypermobility training.   The first part at 12.30 we will be looking at the beginnings of the Therapy.  The early teachings – THEN – for the second half, we will look at a fantastic next step,  “PPT-TOUCH“.  As in the December class, the cost for the two will be $30.  It will be a total of $50 if you want a certificate posted out to you.

PPT-TOUCH  is taking the therapy to the next step – working with the nervous system, releasing the standing waves in the nerve channels of the body.  We will start there.

*If you have done the Certificate Course on ETSY or in person with me and have done the exam previously (are qualified to deliver this therapy), you will be able to get an updated certificate after doing an exam which I will give you on the day to do at home and submit.

*If you have not done previous PPT work with me, and have not done the ETSY certificate course, then this will  be a special interest day – although you could do it back to front.  Do this teacher training day, and then do the ETSY Course, the exam and get the certificate.  

How do I use this in a yoga class?  For instance:  it sometimes occurs that a student who is hypermobile, or previously injured thinks they are straightening their leg when clearly they are not and can’t.  Using this technique in class, you will be able to alleviate the condition and get the student to straighten their leg without discussion, without interrupting the class flow, and without extensive massage or physio.  Intrigued?  It works.

Hi there yogis,

I need your help PLEASE……  I have started a new UTUBE CHANNEL, free videos you can access wherever and whenever you want.  You have asked for it – I have mastered the tech, and here they are.  At the present you have to google “Jahne Hope-Williams UTube” which is OK, BUT, when we have been up for 30 days (it has only been 6 days) and have 100 subscribers, we can get a customised name directly linked to our site.  This would be easier wouldn’t it?  Please go to the site, and subscribe (it is free) to help us on our way to the magic 100.

Christmas is coming QUICKLY.  Our last class will be 12.30  Saturday December 22nd, and we start again on Monday 7th January.

Our new Studio Based Teacher Training starts on the 19th February.

Dear Students,

As I said before, I am rethinking the newsletter.

The inefficiency of what I am doing was highlighted by the fact that there is no feedback, and few are reading this newsletter.  I will keep on doing it in the form of a memo.

From now on I will only publish breaking news.  I will have a regular larger news drop about the middle of the month, but it will not be long.  If you want to see what I am doing you can go to the web site, and  I will blog.

NEWS:  

  1. We will be starting the Riddells Creek Studio at the Church on the 8th january.  Will publish the times when I know.
  2. This is the newsletter for this week – memos will be sent out when needed.

  4. I have started a UTUBE CHANNEL   Jahne Hope-Williams
  5. If you are a face booker, somehow I have 2 addresses.  The one I use is Jahne Hope-Williams – capitals starting the name.  The address which is  in lower case I am trying to delete.
  6. My artwork is selling well – this is the difference between being able to do the voluntary work and not being able to…..  If you would like to come and see it and support our work, please make an appointment.  I will open the gallery on the regular monthly basis.
  7. I will be starting a STUDIO yoga teacher training class in the new year with a start date, and a finish date.  Not the kind of do-it-when-you-can class we have now.
