Good morning rested, ready, students……

REMINDER – YOGA STARTS AGAIN IN THE MORNING AT 10 AND THEN AGAIN AT 12.30 FOR RESTORATIVE (OR “R+R YOGA” AS I RECENTLY SAW IN AN AMERICAN ADVERT).  THE WEEKLY TIMETABLE HAS NOT CHANGED.

This is a call out to anyone who wants to make a difference in the world.  William Wilberforce decided when he was 19 that he wanted to abolish the slave trade in England.  He made it his life’s work and a film was made about it called AMAZING GRACE after the song, (which I believe was written by a former trader in slaves who, like Saul had his Damascus moment,  became blind).  William himself lost everything, became an opium addict to overcome the pain  in his body caused by the wandering life he led, and died shortly after abolition was put into law.  He was thirty at the time.

I tried to load this video on my Facebook page. http://smarturl.it/SusanBoyleIDAD

There are lot of versions of the song, and the movie is worth watching.  Play the song even if you don’t want to watch the video, it made me cry, I am sure it will effect you.

Don’t forget that  Massage with me is happening 6 days a week.  I had almost forgotten how many types I had trained in and knew as part of my massage vocabulary – lots.  This makes teaching massage harder and not easier, as i have to keep on track with the one type so that the students don’t over reach or get confused – it does mean that we can keep learning for a long time….The massage course starts again on the 22nd of this month.  I still have not had one application for the scholarship which i find very interesting, I do have applications for the course.

I look forward to seeing my teachers (visitors, and graduates welcome) at teacher training on Sunday 2pm to 4pm – the topic (which has been Divinely inspired) is “DEATH and BEYOND”.  At Church that morning we will be celebrating St.Francis of Assisi – Also a man who gave up everything he was born to have,  to become the person he was meant to be.

Have a lovely day.  NAMASTE.  Jahne
