THE EVOLUTION OF HEALTH AND FITNESS with ZEN YOGA STRETCH.
GOOD DAY, This is the first newsletter written and sent out by me, so really anything could happen. It will be new to me so be patient.
Our Sunday SILENT RETREAT was fabulous, though short on attendance, but that is getting to be “normal”. There is so much more in the everyday that students think is more important than learning about themselves. We will hold another as this was quite lovely – enlightening even, and we have had enquiries to hold more. Next time I will give you a few optional dates so you can make plans.
ZEN YOGA STRETCH – Yoga plus Moving meditation and deep stretching.
Zen Yoga Stretch originated by Jahne through her experience with 50 years of yoga and studies in Zen and Shaolin Zen Kung Fu, and is composed of soft, flowing movements designed to stimulate the acupuncture meridians and their associated organs. By combining visualisations, breathing patterns and physical movements, this is a highly effective, preventative health discipline, not to mention a fun routine. This has been evolving – it is not a change, just something to work towards.
Tuesdays and Wednesdays 6.30pm and Saturday mornings at 10am at the Bentinck in Woodend. This really is the “Fountain of Youth”.
Cost: $20 per class or $135 for 10 CONSECUTIVE classes.
OR $210 for AN UNLIMITED MONTHLY CLASS PASS.
Monday: 6.30pm Yoga with Nic
Tuesday: 10am Restore at the Studio and 6.30pm Zen Yoga at Bentinck
Wednesday: 5.30pm Restorative Yoga, 6.30pm Zen Yoga
Friday: FREE MEDITATION CLASS 6.30
Saturday: 10am Zen Yoga and 12.30 Restorative at Home Studio
Sunday: 5pm Zen Yoga

The cost of the class for everyone is $20 per class, or $135 for 10 CONSECUTIVE classes. If you commit to a weekly class, then you have to admit the cost is minimal.
LECTURE SERIES. DRUGS, YOGA and SPIRITUALITY:
In the coming months I will be holding a lecture series based on my 50 years of yoga, and 10 years working in the Drug Rehabilitation community. If you are interested in coming to these lectures please indicate your interest by emailing me at firstname.lastname@example.org. We will be looking at how yoga, body work, relaxation, meditation, and nutrition impacts drug recovery. Makes real recovery possible.
ART SHOW – “THE ANGELS AMONG US”
On the 27th of May Jahne will be exhibiting at REDS Restaurant in Woodend. From 2pm to 4pm in order to raise funds for The GitaJaia Yoga Foundation – and this year, monies raised will go towards helping teach yoga to people in recovery from addiction and life trauma. The picture below is the first of the painting in progress. I took a number of my angel paintings (it wasn’t easy taking a scissor to my work), cut them into quilt-like squares and then worked them into a painting. It was heart rending taking the scissors to my work, But I think they look even more amazing now. Wait until you see them… If you like Klimt, shamanic images, angels metaphysical images, you will especially like these works.
