Dear Yogis,

A fire filled end of January as usual.  I look at the castles in England differently since going through a fire, and think “would they survive”.  Even bluestone building can burn from the inside if embers get in the roof cavity.  I have gravel all around the house, but tall trees, and on two sides the home owners are renting or not there and the grass is almost waist high.  But, if a fire did come, the temperatures generated would make short work of everything.  The grass would hardly count, no matter how uneasy it makes me feel today.

I calmed down (the smoke made me anxious too)  by going to the yoga lunch (thank you to those who came), and making lemon butter.  I have also got paintings on the table for the exhibit.  I have to get them gallery ready.  That will keep my mind and hands busy today, as well as my usual yoga class.

I hope that you will be happy and safe.
