A very good morning yogis,

I know you probably think I am crazy (or this confirms it), but I have this overflowing sense of JOY.  That everything is where it is should be, that all is right with the world.  If I had yoga classes this morning it would be HAPPY YOGA!

I am always positive, a “cup half full” not a “cup half empty” sort of person, but here we are in the middle of a something-or-other and I still feel the same,  even better.  Why, I just feel so healthy, so joyful, and I know that these feelings are everything I need to be the healthiest I can be.  That being HAPPY FOR NO GOOD REASON is the absolute best thing you can do for your immune system. What about you?

My regime?  I do have one.  I am looking after myself…

Morning Vitamins: Half an hour before breakfast.  1g Vitamin C, zinc, B, A, ginkgo, spirulina, D, Reishi, Olive leaf extract and my oil. (yes, all of these, but use your pendulum to discover how much you should take of each, and if you should take them in the same way every day – I use my pendulum all the time)

Breakfast: I am not all the hungry in the morning and it is my sinful meal.  I have either hemp oil, garlic and toast, or manuka honey and a slice of toast, and real coffee.

Mid morning.  A teaspoon of FAULDINGS magnesium in peanut butter. (start with half a teaspoon – it tastes awful).  Make sure it is FAULDINGS from the chemist, in a small blue box.  The package hasn’t changed in years.  It has NO additives.  It is not advertised as a “Bath Salts”. It is labelled “EPSOM SALTS – Magnesium Sulphate”. Start with half teaspoon MAX.  Even less until you get used to it.

Lunch: Reishi x 1 drop, Oak essence half an hour before lunch.   Lunch:  A salad,  followed by 1 G Vitamin C,

Dinner: Reishi x 1 drop, Oak essence, olive leaf extract  half an hour before dinner.  followed by steamed vegetable, rice or pasta or.. no dessert.

Before Bed:  1g of vitamin C, magnesium, yoghurt (home made). Olive leaf extract – I make my own.  It is very strong, and I only need a couple of drops.

There it is.  Hasn’t changed much, but it does change season to season, and I have added my Reishi Spore oil,  Olive Leaf extract, and essences.

By the way, remember to use TYOH OIL on you skin.  I am hearing more and more good reports about skin condition after using it.  It won’t happen in an instant, but will happen.

Keep your good food happening, keep up your vitamins.    This is a great opportunity to do your modules.

I am painting AN ANGEL A DAY.

KEEP WARM, KEEP WELL… AND KEEP HAPPY.  NAMASTE,  JAHNE

Good morning Students and graduates,

I have been hard at it this morning (and up to 11.30pm at night)  fielding questions from students, student teachers and clients regarding their health, what’s next, and covid19.

Is this you too?  Are you connected to your tribe, fulfilled by your work even in these difficult times, and conscious…

Personally, I love this respite from the hurry, hurry.  It is not much different to the usual holiday hiatus, except that there are no massages, and no consultation, and no popping down the street for a coffee.   The days are quiet, and I am loving it.  I am busy.  Are you?

This is our opportunity to move from YOGA TEACHER, to TRUSTED YOGA ADVISOR.  Make it part of your plan, and lay the foundations for an even more fulfilling practice when this retreat time (home-stay) is over.  This too will pass.

The trick.  Keep to your old schedule even if you are not taking or doing classes, put something in its place.

Don’t get overwhelmed by the negative news.

Look in the mirror and do your affirmation.  Whatever it is, but along the lines of – “every day in every way I get better and better”.

You are a highly gifted yoga teacher.  Don’t turn off your gift, your intuition, and please, please, stand proud.

The school holidays (magically) started today,

…so NO YOGA IN SCHOOL HOLIDAYS.    There will be no yoga until the middle of April (no teacher training this month).  We will keep you updated regarding the progress of the virus, and how it is affecting us.

I have the absolute latest regime from China (passed to me by a medico working in Europe) on keeping the virus contained, and to protect ourselves.  Of course the Chinese are the best equipped to tell us.  They have been working on it for at least a month longer than us, and because of the scale, they have been able to do autopsies on workers who have died of the virus.  Here is what they recommend… I am doing it.

COVID UPDATE:

Because China has been doing autopsies they now know some basic things we should be doing to protect ourselves.  The virus is a respiratory one. It attaches to the mucus in the lungs hardens it, and thereby makes breathing impossible.

What to do?

  1. Drink HOT LIQUIDS (coffee/tea/soup etc) not cold and warm water EVERY 20 MINUTES.
  2. Gargle with antiseptic or salt (in warm water) every day. I add a couple of drops of my Olive leaf Extract.
  3. The virus is transmitted on hair and clothes. After you have been outside bath/shower/ change your clothes and/or hang them in direct sunlight. Because we don’t have much sunlight, I tumble dry my clothes on hot for about 10-15 minutes.  Pretend you are on a strange planet and have to protect against alien organisms (which we are!).
  4. The virus is viable on metal surfaces for up to 9 days. Vigilantly sanitise metal surfaces, handles, door knobs etc. Don’t forget your glasses, your car doors steering wheel, clutch… and so on.
  5. DON’T SMOKE
  6. Wash hands in warm or hot suds every 20 minutes. I also use hand santiser on my hands,  which I then smooch on my hair.
  7. Eat fruit and vegetables. and increase your zinc level not just Vitamin C.
  8. Animals are OK. This is human to human not animal transmission.
  9. Avoid catching the flu (I think if you do all these things it will help).  Don’t get cold.
  10. Avoid eating or drinking cold things.
  11. If you feel any discomfort, and difference in your breathing or wellness, start this regime NOW. Don’t leave it until later or until you have more time!

Keep well, stay strong, do yoga often.   NAMASTE – JAHNE
