Dear Yogis,

It is the last term, and we are working on a term basis now. It means there are no Class Passes, no punch cards, and no empty mats.

STUDIO YOGA CLASS TIMES (yogabeautiful.com.au)
Fees FROM 3rd October (new term) $220 per term. (The Term – 3rd October until the week starting the 12th December).

Monday – the 1pm class (re-starting 3rd October – TODAY), 2.15 class as usual. ZOOM Teacher Training 6.30pm (all welcome)
Tuesday 1.30 Teaching at Windarring
Wednesday 1pm Hatha and 2.15 teacher training as usual
Friday 11am ART class, 2.15 Hatha yoga as usual.

For the last month or so, I have been running a SPECIAL ART CLASS on Fridays at 11am. This is almost coming to an end, and I am going to open it up to you all. I would like to teach SUMI (Chinese/Japanese watercolour painting), just so you can really understand how to efficiently use brush and watercolour. If you would like to join us, pease let me know. I can only teach a MAXIMUM of four in my studio at the present moment. Cost: $260 per student for 4 x two hour classes. I can supply the materials, and we can even use this time to make Christmas/greeting card illustrations. No previous experience required.

****I WILL BE AT THE ART GALLERY at MT.MACEDON (next to The trading Post) 8th and 16th October from 10am to 1pm. Please come at these times if you would like to meet me, chat, talk about classes, see the dolls and other things from other artists… It is a beautiful little gallery.

‘ABLE2’ YOGA

I have been teaching yoga to the dis-abled (I include myself in this) for a very long time. Addiction and recovery is teaching to the disabled, and teaching the physically and mentally challenged is the same. We have to take each class as we find it and teach the people in the class, not the people we have read about on google.

It is called “ABLE2 YOGA” because EVERYONE can do yoga. “Disabled” is just a word. There are things to remember, there is a vocabulary and a physical vocabulary. The “wins” are thrilling. I am sure that there are teachers out there who would love to teach “ABLE2 YOGA” to a group in their community. You could even teach in aged care. I am going to do ZOOM CLASSES in this very special yoga. Email me and i will give you an ID when I am ready to do.

Dear Yogis,

First off, thank you for those students and friends who came to lunch yesterday. I had to meet a client at home afterwards, and as we were saying goodbye they said – “We saw a lady at the Vic this afternoon who could have been your sister, you looked so much alike, even the hair”. Not only did we look alike, it WAS me! I was at the Vic. Because they didn’t expect to see me there, they didn’t consider it was me – they could have joined us.

PLEASE READ THE FOLLOWING – IT MIGHT MAKE A DIFFERENCE.

Although there is a lot happening in my world, which may down the track impact on my daily schedule, I am not going to put more writing on this page that you don’t read, and taking my lead from the (old) Sun News Pictorial, I will make my paragraphs really, really short so you can read them.

The most important to read is here today. CHANGES TO THE YOGA PAYMENTS being top of the list, and which I have been including in the newsletter for a few weeks now.. This is not news, many of the students have already changed over.

NEW – STUDIO BOTANICAL ART CLASS: “GIVE IT A GO” with Jahne. 4 x 2 hour classes from SUNDAY 9th October, 2.30pm to 4.30 $75 for members of The Botanical Art Society of Australia, ($85 non-members). Minimum of 4 students. Location: Woodend, Victoria. THIS IS NOT A ZOOM CLASS.
