Thursday evening again – no time in the morning to do the newsletter.
News from Mt.Macedon Gallery – THE ROCKS.. – Last Sunday I took in a basket of MILDRED THE CAT painted on small rocks, as I was placing them out they were selling – how good is that! They all sold out in two DAYS. Maybe I didn’t charge enough? I plan in the next few days to place my soft sculptures and larger rocks… on stands, and take more rocks into the gallery.
MY ACCIDENTAL THERMOMIX. I feel like the “accidental tourist” (remember that film?). I don’t think I am going to sell it. I have been saving time, and money and who doesn’t want to do that. I think I am going to save money! Always a pleasure. It was so easy.
I have seen others use it and the noise was awful – mine is OK, maybe the blades on my machine are sharper than theirs, though if I grind up too much coffee then I think they will be not so efficient in the long run. I am excited by the things I can do. This morning in about 45 minutes (including clean-up) I made a cake, a curry, and a tray of ice-cream. Next – nut butters, almond milk, hemp milk and so on. No souffles or triple decker sponges! More coffee. You never know, I might be in the kitchen long enough to use the dishwasher!
You know whats going to happen don’t you. I am going to get so enthusiastic that I will want you to join me on this journey even if it is just various milks. That will save money. . Jayne Boyle one of my graduates who has a yoga school in Bendigo told me that this would happen. Her husband uses theirs all the time – I am told that guys really love using them. Give a boy a tool and he will use it.
WHATS ON IN YOGA….
MONDAY: NO 10.30 Studio yoga (today only). No change at 1pm, class as usual, then Zoom 6.30.
TUESDAY: Gentle Core Yoga 1pm
WEDNESDAY: Chair Yoga 10am here at the studio. 1pm Studio Yoga as usual.
FRIDAY:1pm Studio Yoga

MT.MACEDON GALLERY – yes, I do have work there, and I will be there in person this coming Sunday. and if you come in, I will give you a guided tour. Just go down the lane next door to the trading post – one of the very best coffees around. I will be taking on more painted rocks.
WOODEND SEOND HAND BOOKSTORE: My Cards and framed Beatrix Potter style paintings there. LOOK UP! When I was there today I noticed that the girl next to me at the till had a handful of my greeting cards, we chatted and she bought more!!! If I can catch up I will take in some rocks.

It has been an unusual weekend.. raining almost non-stop, dark, grey. I tried to get enthused by writing, painting, and in the end I got on top of things I just had to complete, then I played around with cards, and T-Bag cards (I am very low on cards at the gallery) and began a project to add seeds to the cards, so if you bought a card with a dandelion on the front, you could plant the tea bag afterwards and the seeds would grow!
