Dear Yogis,

Last evening (whilst I was crocheting)  I spent an hour “wallowing”. I watched THE PIANO.    I didn’t really intend to, and I don’t think I will be watching again, but it was very interesting.  There was a good blend of people who played the piano for fun, a gorgeous”mini Liberace” complete with bling, but the winner was a girl who played the heart strings not just the piano keys.

We had a beautiful weekend but I am still watering the garden – everything is so dry.  Next weekend Saturday and Sunday are free at the moment, and unless a massage is booked I plan to spend the days in the garden.  My pond has to be cleaned out and redesigned to be more in keeping with the warmer weather.. I will be installing a smaller water area, it was much bigger than I remembered and keeping it full had become a “project”.  The veggie garden needs replanting, and compost added.  Lots of little things, and apart from the pond, nothing major.

I am having a wonderful time doing LYMPHATIC DRAINAGE massage (and self-massage).  Years ago when I was in Melbourne I had quite an uptake of this service, due to a clinic which understood its importance, not many do.  The lymph system is the waste control for the body and we can extrapolate all kinds of results when we consider that it services the whole body.  So many folk who are suffering long covid realise the proteins are at the basis of their long term problems…  a series of lymph massages may go a long way to helping realign the glands.  From the results I achieve, I know that this is a good step forward.

If you are signed up for hip or knee surgery, you would do well to book in for a few “pre” as well as “post”-surgery massages.  Healing is easier, faster.

Of course this massage also addresses pain, and those folk who perhaps overdo their gym sessions will also benefit, although this is usually the”no pain no gain” group and they don’t really understand the value of the lightness of touch delivered by this massage, even if positive results are experienced.
