Dear Yogis,

A great time for herb cooking – I hope you are.  The most spectacular is CLEAVERS or sticky weed as you know it.  Don’t throw it away – eat it.

I am sure you recognise it.  It is a weed for sure, but it is also fabulous in winter or summer menues.  They are not like nettles, no need to blanch first.  Just put in your processor and make the most wonderful pesto which retains a gorgeous dark green colour and taste to the end.  Simple – sticky weed any other “weeds” dandelion, Herb Robert for instance, parmesan,  lemon, oil and anything else you usually add.  The cleavers are a sweetish herb when you process.

I also use it in potato salad, and any other time I need to add a green and there isn’t much in the fridge.  Forget about the limp greens in the supermarket, your garden will provide all you need.

I have written booklets to help you – go to www.myyogabooks.etsy.com
Painting is getting time consuming in spite of the miniature nature of the work.  Herb paintings on Tea Bags.  I finished merlin, just waiting to feel inspired enough to wax…

In addition to writing these newsletters, gardening and painting, I offer tarot readings. My clients tell me that these readings are “life-changing,” “very accurate,” and can help them make big decisions or changes in their lives. To find out more about them, along with my other services, please go to my website www.jhwilliams.online
You could always email me to make time for a chat.
