Dear Yogis,

What a fantastic weekend.  I have purchased a new electric hedge trimmer to cut back the ivy, an electric pruning shear for the wisteria, and was given an electric whipper snipper which started this garden mayhem.  I wish I had done it sooner.  It has made the trimming pruning aspect of my garden manageable, and marginally enjoyable.  It is like cutting hair.  I can see there is a learning curve, and I am prepared to learn.  So all good.

Our Zoom classes.  The Pendulum class was fun, fun, fun (and we learned heaps).  The Tarot on Saturday was great, and the Gita class on Sunday was not to be missed.  We have two new students logging on – which didn’t quite make up for the regulars who post covid are off BBQ’ing, house viewing, and generally reverting to what used to be called “normal”.  Covid lock-down had a lot going for it.   It pushed you all towards more study, and more zoom classes.

Discover more than just water, with our new updated Pendulum/Dowsing Diploma Course. I am refreshing and updating our course.  With the new material I have included you will not only earn how dowsing works, you will discover the tools used in its practice, and receive guidance on how to use divining techniques for a variety of purposes – from searching for lost objects and dowsing the energy of a room, to cleansing and balancing chakras and finding and resolving problems with auras.  If you are interested email me, and you will get notified BEFORE it goes on the web.  Be the first… this is a course for students who want to be PROFESSIONALS in this field.

ZOOM CLASSES FOR THE WEEK.
Monday: THE BREATH 6.30.  We will be looking at how eating effects the breath (and life)
Tuesday: THE RUMI STUDY AT 7.30.  This is a fabulous study and we are all learning so much – especially me!  The similarities between Rumi and other spiritual leaders and prophets is getting more and more apparent as we progress into the study.

THE ANGEL PAINTINGS
I was going to do Buddhas on the tea bags, but I have really gotten back into angel paintings and the tea-bags are perfect size-wise.  I have started, and really, if I wasn’t speaking to you, that is where I would be.  In my studio painting.  I will add photo when I am able to get a good image. When I have a few, I will put them in the shop on this site.  The cost will include the frames and postage.  I think $65 would be a good price.  You will be surprised how lovely they look – the tea bag paper is rather lovely, especially the stains.. Miniatures appeal to me, and students are saving their used tea bags, without the tea.  If you can send me some, cut the bottom of the bag after you have used the bag, get rid of the used tea, and post them to me dry.  Leave the tags and strings on – the unusual aspect of the tags appeals to me.  Some are very colourful.

LEADERSHIP.  THE FIRST SELF- HELP MANUAL
You know that I read the Bible, and from time to time  I encourage you to do the same, especially in this case.

NEHEMIAH,   a book in the old testament, is worth reading on the subject of Leadership.   The Jews needed to rebuild the walls of the city, and all though they could see the need for it, it looked too hard.  There were many obstacles including the inter-racial aspects and the politics of peoples settled in and around that area at the time.  Nehemia saw the problem clearly and had the will to do it.  The story tells how he used intelligence (and marketing) to get the walls rebuilt.

These walls were a symbol of the nation, and it seemed no-one had the heart to rebuild.  Nehemiah called on God, and repented not just for himself but for the Jews entire.  He reminded God of the promises He had made to Moses….

Believing his prayers had been answered (he had faith in things unseen), Nehemiah proceeded to enlist help of his fellow citizens.  He persuaded his employer in Persia to give him time off, he then went to Jerusalem and in the night surveyed the work to be done – speaking to no-one until he was completely aware of all aspects of what needed doing.  Once he had done this, he set about enlisting the help of all the Tribes.  What they couldn’t give in materials they gave in time or services, even guarding the wall was necessary (these were troubled times).  He even organised for those who had grain to provide grain for those who had none,  and to return any payments made.  He negotiated with rival tribes to keep the peace, and laws were devised to protect the people.  By doing this, he was able to bring everyone together for the project.

He didn’t forget GOD, and he didn’t forget to be GRATEFUL, and at every stage gave thanks for what had been accomplished step by step.

This is not a long book, and covers many aspects of Jewish life at the time, however I think it is recommended reading for people who are unsure of how to lead a group of people who are of different beliefs, and meld them together into a whole to achieve a common good.  It could be as simple as getting your family to agree on the building of a fence, or the building of a vegetable garden.  A project that has been agreed on, but looks too big.

It may seem unrealistic to ask you to read it and apply it to your life, but we can all learn something from history.  Like Arjuna in The Gita, Nehemiah was on the battlefield.  How he managed to rebuild the walls, and the leadership strategies he used, were like the tactics on a battlefield, or in any community or family with a project which needs to be finished, all that is needed is a clever, motivated, leader.

Read the book.  Not word-for-word (the first time).  Learn something.

I look forward to seeing you on the mat.

NAMASTE.  JAHNE

Dear Yogis,

Another holiday on the horizon.  Labour day weekend.  A notion that was revolutionary not so long back in time, and we still celebrate ‘EIGHT HOURS WORK, EIGHT HOURS PLAY, EIGHT HOURS SLEEP FOR EIGHT BOB(SHILLINGS) A DAY”.  I wonder how many people still have eight hours play and eight hours sleep per day, and how many only work eight hours.  Not me, but I am working on it!.

Instead of celebrating with a holiday, maybe we could celebrate by changing the way we live to give ourselves a greater balance between work, play, sleep and how much money we actually need to live the lives we think we should have.

ZOOM:  After a year or so of compulsory covid pause,   I am allergic to days off unless absolutely necessary – so classes as usual this Labour Day Weekend..

Friday 6.45 – our FREE pendulum/tarot class.  Beginners to advanced, or mildly curious welcome
Saturday 2pm – TAROT/ART CLASS.  Bring whatever project you would like to go on with, even making a pendulum or cards as we did before could be a NEW project.
Sunday 10am – our FABULOUS GITA STUDY.  If you are a teacher, you should be with us.
Monday 1pm – yoga studio class 1pm (full)   6.30 THE BREATH, FREE  on Zoom.  (We did breath last week.  This week “EAT” whilst still considering the breath). Next week MOVE and the week after LIVE.

KARMA

To understand how things work, I have been thinking about and researching “cause and effect” – KARMA.  Is it just applicable to what we humans do, or does it apply to everything?  Well, it turns out that mathematicians and physicists (and animators like my son), spend their lives working with Karma,  with the laws of cause and effect which govern everything that happens in the universe, from the growth of nautilus shells, to the populations of cities, to animation.  A Code for everything which can be worked out mathematically… but what causes things to fall in these magic ratios that occur all around us (“Pi” is just one of them)?  I am sure that these codes respond to the energy of what each of us do, or we,  by our energy for positive or negative action are moved by one of the principles.  Even Murder which seems random is governed by many things which can now with some accuracy be predicted mathematically, as can numbers of beans in a jar and so on right through the universe and every thing in it.  We think we have free will? My head is still spinning as I contemplate the vastness of something we simply call KARMA. Everything we do matters, and effects everything else.  We are so predictable because of all living things, we are the most selfish..

I am reminded of the CHAKRAS.  In our yoga texts it is said we are created in the navel chakra “like snowflakes on a twig”, which was all very romantic until I understood that even in the world of snowflakes there is a code that determines growth, behaviour, destruction, life, even death.  It is not random it is not chaotic.  Not every snowflake is the same, perfection even on the scale of emerging snowflakes can only happen at best one in a million times and even on this molecular scale ENVIRONMENT DETERMINES SHAPE.

How has your environment determined your “shape”, and how can you work with nature to achieve the best shape you can be – what forces are at work in your life? Is it shame, scarcity, or is it JOY.   It is at this level and with these thoughts that you begin to understand the profound nature of the ancient writers of the yoga texts.

THE PENDULUM
To go from the sublime, to the mildly questionable (no, not ridiculous).  In sessions with  my pendulum, I have been introduced to my Guides (and am able to know them through their history as well as being a guide on the other side), I say hello to my past-self, and more recently Princess Di.   I promised a blog, and will get to this….if you are a pendulum user, for tips, for reports on my voyage join us on Fridays for our FREE pendulum/tarot study group, and/or  go to www.thebreath.online

As “interesting” as that is, I am most pleased with the way that working with my pendulum has caused a change in the way I eat.  The “What-When” question.  This, added to the mini-bike under my desk has caused me to lose quite a lot of weight  (the covid mini-bulge) without really having to  think about it, and even more INCHES – they drop off first I have found.  Now I could do with a “skin shrink” just to tighten everything up!  It will happen. Patience.  My mother used to say “Patience is a virtue , find it where you can.  It is always in a woman and seldom in a man”.

In all of this, no matter where you are in life even if you were a Princess…God won’t show you what is next if you are not grateful and working with what you have right now.  Breakthroughs start with a question, not an answer.  Belong to yourself FIRST – you can’t be loved if you can’t be seen.

MEET ME ON ZOOM.

NAMASTE – JAHNE

“YOU ARE ENOUGH” – LIVING AN UNCOMPROMISED LIFE
SPECIAL SESSION SUNDAY 14TH MARCH 2 to 3PM: $55

A ZOOM PAST-LIFE SESSION WITH ME .

You all know that I have been doing past life sessions for many years, and you also know I was taught by a Master, the Late Dolores Cannon.  In the past 30 or so years, I have taken many, many people way back into their pasts lives or their future lives where we have uncovered their limiting beliefs and experiences.

Now, I am offering you all the possibility of going back into moments in this life that limit you right now, today.  Beliefs you have taken on in this life, limits that are not yours but have been imposed by others.  Parents, grand-parents, friends, situations.

In the relatively short time we will spend together, I know POWERFUL HEALINGS will occur.  Blockages will be removed – I know this because it happened to me when Dolores did similar sessions with me..  You may accept for the first time that what you have been led to believe about yourself IS NOT YOU, and is not true!  It was a name tag that was attached to you somewhere in your childhood which we can (once and for all) remove and replace.  Whatever you believe about you that is holding you back IS NOT YOU.

“YOU ARE ENOUGH”. Normally to do a past-life session with me takes more than 2 hours, and of course, as a one-on-one, a 2 hour session costs about $350.

I am offering this group 1 hour zoom session with me for $55.
As you will discover – it is transformational.

If you want to join me, go to the home page of this web site…. www.yogabeautiful.com.au and click on PAY VIA PAYPAL.  You don’t need an account, paypal accepts debit and credit cards.  When I see your payment of $55,  I will log you into the session and will send an ID the day before.  If you have any questions you can email me at yogafirst2@bigpond.com

This is going to be an adventure.  I have done lots of classes, tarot sessions, and pendulum sessions since Covid began (I was the girl who said she never would go near zoom), but this will be a first for me, although most of my tarot/pendulum sessions are about removing blockages to your success.  I hope to see you there.

PLEASE JOIN ME….ON THE ZOOM
