WHERE WERE YOU ON SUNDAY?

I was in Shepparton delivering a Masterclass in THE YOGA OF HEMP, at the beautiful Carrington Hotel..  Bringing together the ECS, the CSF, and Hemp.  How we can better understand the collagen mutation at the heart of the problem, and how ECS explains this, and how hemp can help. It was a great class.  If you want to the gist of what we discussed you will find it in the book THE YOGA OF HEMP, which as usual is on www.myyogabooks.etsy.com

Our Yoga Community is an amazing place to learn and meet others who have the same interests, and the masterclasses and teacher Training are the opportunity to do this. There is so much information, and the classes are so in depth. It is just what you need to give you the confidence to teach professionally.  We are a family – you are not on your own.

OUR (BECOMING REGULAR) STUDENT LUNCH: Talking about being on your own…. If you would like to join us on this Friday 12.30 at the Mt.Macedon Hotel (just up from The Trading Post), please do.  Last time was great fun.  We have the long table in front of a beautiful open fire.  The lunch (depending on your appetite) costs about $22.00 so not only is it fun, supports those girls who don’t regularly get out for lunch (include me in that) , it also supports our community.  I would like it to become really regular, and for quite a few to join in.  Let me know if you would like to come (I need to know approximate numbers).  yogafirst2@bigpond.com

SCHOOL HOLS:  Start this Saturday (last class).  First class in new term Saturday July 13th.  You will find the details in CLASSES above.

NEXT TEACHER TRAINING CLASS: First Sunday in July between 2pm and 4pm at the Studio.  Please park on the while gravel.  All welcome. Students $20 Visitors $30. Diarise it today.  For Bendigo and others look in CLASSES above.

RESTORATIVE YOGA TEACHER TRAINING STUDIO COURSE:  Announcing shortly on-line and in YOGA JOURNAL.  You can let me know if you are interested, and i will keep you in the loop.  In this course, as well as the usual; you restorative subjects,  we will be looking at The Yoga of hemp, and how the EndoCannabinoid system fits in so beautifully in boosting the collagen mutations of Hypermobility.  An elegant solution that fits our Restorative yoga so beautifully.

REGISTRATION:  Please check that you are Registered at the right level, and the dates are current. (Insurance and videos and first aid requirements).  Please don’t try and register on-line.  Contact me personally by email.

ANY QUESTIONS (I hope so): Please email me at yogafirst2@bigpond.com

Love and Blessings

Jahne…….

Hi Guys,

Sorry to inundate you with emails, but this is a very short one about hypermobility and Prince Harry.

I don’t know if any of you watched the special WARRIOR PRINCE on the TV, but I found myself doing that.  I was intrigued when I saw how many little “flags” registered with me showing that Harry was hypermobile.  If it runs again, have a look.  When he is on parade his neck arches in a very peculiar way and at a far greater acute angle than any of his fellow officers – his fingers are double jointed – he had trouble at school learning and in exams,  hence the love of the army which is very practical “doing” rather than thinking thing.  He has no boundaries physical or personal and throws himself into things…He suffers with anxiety, depression, maybe dealing with addiction….  yes, he lost his mum, but he had this long before that.  He is a very typical hypermobile person, and being a Royal,  probably has a lot of medical and psychological intervention which does nothing much.

I possibly would have picked up more, but I only started concentrating when I saw the neck angle.

If only I could have him in a yoga class.  Come to The Carrington in Shepparton between 2 and 4 on Sunday to learn more.  It is exactly what we will be dealing with.

Namaste.  Jahne

Hi there Guys,

Yesterday was my day off and I had time to think…This is the result!!!

Another reminder.  Please, please check that you are registered, and check that you are insured at the right level.

If you have bought an on line insurance without registering with us first (perhaps to save money), make sure that you are registered and insured at the right level.  If you are not graduated and are registered as graduated then if there was a claim, there is a possibility that you would not be covered.  You would not have told the truth on your application for insurance.  This would cost you a whole lot more than you perhaps had anticipated in the beginning.

Your videos.  The subscriptions only are for one year.  If you plan it properly that is all you should need, but that is up to you.  If you have not planned, and you still need contact hours, then please get your subscription up to date.  If you only have a few hours to make up, use the free videos on the youtube channel.  When you watch them, log them just like you do when you watch the teacher training videos.  It could make up the shortfall.

And don’t forget Shepparton this Sunday at The Carrington between 2 and 4pm.  The subject is THE YOGA OF HEMP – covering the endocannabinoid system, hypermobility and restorative yoga. It is going to be packed.  Bring a pen and paper (and a friend).  Cost for 2 hours packed with information $20.

Namaste.  Jahne
