Dear Yogis,

Here we are (or here I am), in what feels like “The Great Covid Pause”.  I didn’t need another holiday – I needed more and more of you. I only have another 10 days to go and we can start back!….

Throughout the whole experience, since March last year, I have been learning more and more about what I can do, and more importantly, what I need to do.  Not “need to” from a monetary point of view, but having faith in my creative drivers. In this mind, I have even taken the TAROT a step further, and made a SECRET TAROT BOOK (in the photos and on etsy – the tarot, pendulum and charts all fit into a secret compartment in the book ).   I have learned if I don’t create art I am not happy, and I feel only partly here.  Living the creative life (yoga,  art or whatever you do, whatever your art form), as you will know, requires faith.  Faith that you are going in the right direction, and the only way we can know is by checking in with our inner compass – our heart. Are you happy?

FAITH IS NOT THE SAME AS BELIEF.  Belief is about accepting certain statements are true.  You probably believe that 1+1=2, that elephants are bigger than insects, and that water is wet.  You think these things are true, but you don’t think they are true on the basis of faith.  Faith is about trusting in God, and believing IN something and not believing THAT something is right.

Although faith is not the same thing as belief,  it might consist of having certain beliefs, being willing to accept the things that are revealed to us by “God”, in the same way you might accept the claims of a close friend because you trust their knowledge and experience.  St.Paul in Hebrews 11:1 calls faith “the evidence of things unseen”.

I am a fan of THE MATRIX.  In this tale, Hamann the councillor refuses to accept Lock’s narrow minded dismissal of oracles, prophesies and such.  Lock cries out to Hamann  “I believe we need every ship we have to survive this attack, why did you allow the Nebuchadnezzar to leave?!”

“Because,” says Hamann “I believe our survival depends on more than how many ships we have”

As Thomas Aquinas says in Summa Theologica “The act of faith is firmly attached to something, and in this respect the person of faith is in the same state of mind as one who has knowledge or understanding.  Yet the believer’s knowledge is not completed by a clear vision, and in this respect he is like one having a doubt, a suspicion, or an opinion” (2a.2ae.2.1).

For your future wellbeing and abundance, are you banking on “how many ships you have”.  Are you going in the direction of your head, or your heart?

WALK FORWARD IN FAITH.

NAMASTE.  JAHNE

Good-day yogis,

THOUGHT FOR TODAY (Inspired by the works of Edgar Cayce):  “What you hear you may believe, but you will rarely act as if you have believed unless you have direct experience.  Life, coming out of seemingly no-where to enter into the material and become a living expression of the promptings of the heart.  That has been the experience of the soul in its various incarnations and spheres of consciousness in order to give them reality and a more perfect concept of the relationship of man to the Creator”.

It’s  a wonderful life isn’t it, just when I get to thinking my life is all laid out, God plays “52 Pick-Up” ie throws all the cards in the air and lets them fall where they may.  I then have to set about the “pick-up”.  HE knows me, and knows I like 52 options…. No Zoom this week, no yoga in the studio this week, and I am already missing it.

WORKING WITH OUR GIFTS.  Like you (?) I honour my body with exercise, wise food choices (most of the time), water and sleep.  I spend time in meditation and spiritual contemplation every day.  I honour my gifts and seek to expand my spiritual abilities by learning from mentors and from Nadoyan my guide.  I am focussing more on what I do well and learning to do more of it every day – so I am in an even better position to help you.

My gifts are not predictive but are solution based.  The future is fluid,  and equipped with self-knowledge we can make the best choices, and take the desired actions to make our lives more as we desire them to be. I help you to help you discover and honour your own talents so that you can make a contribution to the world which is as unique and important as your own auric blueprint.

Dear Yogis,

What a fabulous Christmas!  I hope you all had a wonderful Christmas too.  Apart from the Drop-in-Day nothing was really planned.  I just let it be what it needed to be. I am learning to do this.

Yesterday was very surprising.  Life becomes what it is meant to be when we leave things in God’s hands. I had a typical Boxing Day lunch after a long, long walk.  Then a sing-song a round the pianola – nothing you would like I think, Joplin, the songs of the 1940’s (Astaire and Rogers).  I have promised that next time I will wear chiffon and dance,  all I need to do first is find Fred.  Later we had a recital around a beautiful concert Grand Piano – and I met Tilly, the Being which accompanies (inhabits) this beautiful and very old instrument.

The day wasn’t over even then, we walked around one of the old Mt.Macedon Gardens, green, lush and silent.  The weather was perfect and the day sublime. – The view was better than any McCubbin,  reaching out and over Mt.Macedon foothills,  encompassing Hanging Rock,  The Jim-Jim and into infinity over the Cowbaw. I managed one photo suitable to make a lino cut.

Later in the afternoon we finished the day at my place on the deck with Gin-and-Tonics sans gin, plus cheese and biscuits, then trimmed a tree (after the fashion of Monty Don) which had spread its wings a little too far.

What a day!  Later in the week it seems we are going to the Atisha Buddhist Centre to see The Great Stupa (The one in the picture is in my garden). I could not have designed a better day… this is what happens when you take your hand off the wheel, and say OK to God’s Plan for you.

THIS IS MY NEW YEAR’S GIFT YO YOU…

Remember – God knows your secrets and loves you anyway.  Sins are just a failure to choose goodness, and they have a way of punishing  us when we ignore them. In every moment of every day goodness is a choice.   Every moment is a moment to make a good choice – a moment to think a good thought and to act on it.  God’s great blessing is that in every moment we can create ourselves again.  Now is the time for you to make a choice.

Namaste.  Jahne
