Dear Yogis,

The perfect weather for study.  Wet, very windy, cold and grey.  I have been studying and I hope you have been catching up with your modules, it is the perfect opportunity.  Whilst you have been doing fabulously domestic things, I have been completing a couple of courses I started in the beginning of covid – The Bach Flower Remedies Certificate and the Bach Flower Remedies Advanced Diploma Course recognised by the (IPHM),   AND I FINISHED THEM AND DID THE EXAM, and I passed with distinction.  I just sat at the computer until they were done, and I have to say this is the only way that I can do it.  I am now an Approved Training Provider of the Bach Flower Therapies.  A perfect complement to Compassionate Companions Project, which exactly what the herbs are.

During covid I have even started turning my garden into a BACH REMEDY GARDEN.  I won’t be able to grow some of the remedy herbs, but I have a lot even now – and I make other remedies for my clients using Australian plants.  You don’t need to spend hundreds of dollars, you just need knowledge and experience, both of which are available.

Edward Bach who discovered and isolated these 38 energetic essences was a doctor who worked very successfully in Harley Street, London. He wanted a healing system suitable for every one of us to be able to do, and we can. He left the success he had on Harley street, and went to Wales where he spent the last years of his life discovering the essences.

These essences do not cure neither do they heal but like yoga, they influence the energies, the moods and emotions.  Once we bring someone into a balanced state of being, they feel happy, and health happens.

I have been having a wonderful time over covid, out and about collecting specimens, herbs, and making them into Bach therapies the way that Edward Bach directed.  This is medicine for everyone. They are especially useful for treating animals.  They can do no harm.

Now that I have completed and am a qualified Training Provider I can invite you to join me. You can work with your family, children, your fur babies and community… If you have contemplated being a herbalist but it is too complex and too long, or a homeopath but the same time frame and cost applies, then maybe becoming a BACH THERAPIST would be the way to go.  I am finalising an easy, short, economical course so that you can not only save money, you can provide health giving solutions, and you can do it with me complete with zoom sessions and a payment plan as usual.

I have been able to offer Bach Therapies for quite a few years now, and I offer them again to you.  I am also making up the remedies so that you can use them for yourself and your children at home.  They were a lifeline for me when I was at home with my children when they were young.  They provided a way of bypassing illness by recognising changes before they became disturbing.

I am putting these remedies on www.ccpproject.com.  everything Bach, including training.

THIS WEEKS SCHEDULE.
TODAY (FRIDAY) Studio Yoga 5.30pm and Zoom FREE tarot class at 6.45

Dear Yogis,

My life is changing, has changed and I am pretty sure your life is too.  It seems we are really going through the “quickening”.  Some of you would have felt it, some not.

For many years now I have relied on Bach Flower Remedies.  I respond well to them as do my clients.  I make my own from the herbs and trees forest and beside the creeks and nature reserves around the Macedon Ranges.  I can’t make all of the remedies, but most of them (based on the herbs and trees available to me), and I feel sure that they work faster and better because they are growing where we are.  We share the energies.  I can make them up, and give them to a client and the energies of origin match.

I am calling them “COMPASSIONATE COMPANION REMEDIES” (www.ccpproject.com) because they work on emotions and moods.  I will be writing them up on the CCP website. I will also be selling the remedies on the site for $25 including standard postage.

Edward Bach who was the originator of the remedies, started his professional life as a highly paid, well respected Harley Street Specialist in London.    When he sold his equipment and practice, moved to Wales to work on his herbal remedies, one of the drivers was to present a set of remedies that could be used by anyone, and would not be expensive.  In fact he rarely charged for his therapies.  You would not need any special skill to follow his lead, just the need to serve.

If you would like to work with these remedies and would enjoy a consultation with me, I charge for the time ($55 for half an hour or part thereof – zoom or studio), but I do not charge for the remedies.  You get them as part of your consultation.  I include pendulum work and sometimes Tarot to help us with the remedies.

If you are zooming I can send the remedy free via Australia post.  If you pay an extra $5 for express post you will actually have a chance of getting your remedy in a reasonable time – standard post is VERY slow especially with Christmas looming.  However, you could come to the studio for your appointment, and you could pick up your remedy at the same time – I will be only taking a short break over Christmas.  To make an appointment email me yogafirst2@bigpond.com.

SCHEDULE
Wednesday: Yoga in the Studio 5.30  Friday 5.30 Yoga in the Studio, 6.45 Free Tarot class.

I LOOK FORWARD TO SEEING YOU IN CLASS OR ON ZOOM – OR MAYBE TO PLAY WITH BACH REMEDIES.

Good morning Yogis,

STUDIO: 1pm today, 5.30 Wednesday and 5.30pm Friday.

HERBS AND PLANT SPIRIT MEDICINE

If you live around my suburb you may have seen me out collecting and foraging herbs for tinctures, for teas, for food.  Now is the perfect time.  I know from years of past experience that plants need to be gathered and used in the area they are gathered.   It is important that herbs be local ones as the healing properties of the plant relate to its localness.  Why? It is I believe,  because our distress has to do with our not being present, and plants that are local to a place have the ability to bring that to us.

Our modern life more or less ensures that we are not in touch with this magic mysterious power that we collectively call NATURE.  Nature is the fountain of existence, our health.  Ultimately this connection is the fountain of our existence and health.  Ultimately, by ignoring it, or thinking it is not necessary,  it is also the source of our illness.

That is why local plants are so powerful, a thousand times more powerful than a plant from somewhere else.  A plant from where you live can “bring you home”.  That is the aim.  Local plants know where they are, they are “rooted” in the region.  They are the expression of that creative magic of nature and they can share that with you.  I have a rule of thumb learned from other plant healers from my own and other cultures,  a “local” plant is one which grows within a two day WALK,   so anyone, even in the largest city can access growing things using that criteria.

You do need a teacher because illness springs up in our blind spot, my daily charting and meditation shows up my blind spot.  I can pretend, but the chart tells me otherwise, even if the message of meditation can be side-tracked. Plant medicine is a celebration of our interdependence.  We think we are totally independent – it is not realistic.  There is something very powerful about asking for help – I think it attracts the attention of the spirits.  Asking for help from the spirits puts us in alignment with how things are and to where healing is coming from.  Every heartbeat, every breath depends on this source, this spirit this fountain that is constantly creating.  Just asking for help puts you in a truer perspective of being a child of God, a child of nature.  Spirit isn’t limited by molecules.

As we learned from Yogananda and The Gita.. “The little mind of the little man” writes Yogananda, “cannot possibly identify itself with the Universal Consciousness of God”, and identification with God or the Ultimate reality is the goal of yoga and the greatest endeavour anyone can hope to take.

I will see you on the mat.

Stay Well,

NAMASTE, JAHNE
