Dear Yogis,

Thank you for those who came to my opening exhibition – it meant the world to me.  The exhibition will be on for the next three weeks, and I urge you to visit (and also to buy).  It is the money from my art which means that I can keep on teaching to people with disabilities, and in recovery where money is an issue, plus presenting TAROT FOR THE VISION IMPAIRED.

If I make enough from my art, then money is no longer a pressing issue for me and I can donate my time over and over – not just occasionally. It is the art that makes the difference.

The photo is the art table covered in cards.  I have to count them, put them in decks, and then for the vision impaired,  press the code into them.  It is time consuming, but there is no option unless I am making thousands of cards, which until you start buying thousands of cards, is not possible.

Buy a deck for a friend, for yourself… put the deck away for a special gift.

If you want to say hello – I will be at the Woodend Art and Makers Market at the Norma Richardson Hall (next to the Anglican Church) this coming Saturday.  I usually am set up and ready to go at about 10am.

NAMASTE – JAHNE

Dear Yogis,

Just a very short reminder that my exhibition is happening and opens TONITE at 6pm

WHERE:   THE OLD AUCTION HOUSE, Mollison Street Kyneton (just up from the IGA)

WHEN: Tonite at 6pm to 8 pm and then for three weeks.  Plenty of parking available, in the street and  parking bay down the lane beside the gallery.

WHAT:  Larger paintings of a stag, wolves, forest, castles in the mist – all inspired by the film THE DIG.  Plus the tarot, and the launch of THE TAROT FOR THE BLIND and vision impaired.  I took a photo of a small sort – even getting them in order takes time.

I will be taking  bookings for tarot readings if you want to meet me and make a booking….  I won’t be doing tarot readings though – they take at least an hour.

I look forward to seeing you.

Namaste.  Jahne

Dear Yogis,

DON’T FORGET.  MY EXHIBITION AND RELEASE OF MY “TAROT FOR THE BLIND” OPENS AT 6PM THIS FRIDAY THE 14TH MARCH, AT THE OLD AUCTION HOUSE GALLERY IN KYNETON.

I want you to know that I don’t think of myself as an angel, neither as a saint or a guru.  I think of myself as a woman who understands all too well “calls for help” because I have been there.    What I do now (and have done for a very long time) is to work with people by showing them how to cross the bridges that are separating them from their lives.

One time after Jesse’s birth I was plain overweight, aching, not coping.  Because nothing was helping I sat in a cupboard and cried for days.

But I changed, I learned you can’t become the person you want to be by battling these issues with toxic medications.  My way worked, I threw the scales away,  I have guided  many,  many folk and showed them how they can change too.

The techniques I use are profound and simple, gentle yoga, meditation, ritual and nutrition.  I love doing this because I know that this threefold spiritual process has the power to transform your spirit and help heal your body.

At a certain point, you will understand as I have what it means to be toxic, what it means to be in pain, what it means to be overweight.  For me it was terrifying.  I realised that if I was going to heal, it would not be because of willpower or giving up foods or things.  What I needed to do was surrender.

Most folk wake up every morning with the equivalent of a hangover – a toxic hangover.  We try and live full lives, make good decisions, but we are always battling mental fog and pain.  We rarely have the good energy we want and need.

The decision to change and detox needs courage but the results are extraordinary – there are challenges.  When your body and your spirit are in alignment there is clarity and balance.  Suddenly your choices become very clear.

If this is you,  make an appointment to chat.
