CREATE A HEALING DOLL COMPANION – you will be amazed….
Maybe you have dismissed dolls in the past as being “dust collectors”, or “temporary toys for children”.
NOT SO!!! NOT THESE DOLLS.
Dolls can be powerful medium of transition. Realisations happen when we make dolls, especially when working in a group of supportive women.
WHERE in your life ARE YOU —?
Perhaps you have just come through a major transition. Maybe a relationship or job has ended and now you are considering something new?. Or you have just suffered a traumatic loss or a sudden illness. Nothing seems firm, everything is sliding away. Your life is busy, and it is taking all your energy to stay on top of the demands of this huge transition. You’re feeling overwhelmed and stuck
Maybe you’ve been addressing this overwhelm through trying therapies from Western or alternative healers – but nothing is making a difference…. Some folk take on extra work as a way to distract.. Television can provide an escape, and maybe by doing things like binge watching Netflix or comfort eating you have filled in your days..
What is dragging you down, why is it so hard?
In spite of all the work you have done with therapists, you are still floundering – have you thought there must be something more than all this talking and rehashing of the past. It isn’t helping you to recognize this new self that you are after all this change but you can’t and don’t want to go back to who you were before this change happened.
WHAT’S THE NEXT STEP AND WHAT CAN I OFFER? What I have always loved whether yoga or painting or dolls (or even the tarot), my mission is to work with women at mid to late life transition whose roles and identities no longer fit and urgently want to connect to their true selves.
One of the best ways to experience the magic of dolls is to make one yourself and I offer courses here where you can do that.
Another way is to purchase healing dolls and you can see some of those on my gallery page and in the gallery exhibit on view in the video below. My hope is to offer here a channel for beginning to find your true self through the modality of healing dolls.
MY NEXT WORKSHOP…..
Spend the day in a small, supportive group of like-minded creative women. You’ll create a personal healing doll using natural materials and traditional hand-sewing techniques. This doll will reflect your inner needs, intentions, and healing journey.
Whether you’re new or experienced doll-maker, this workshop offers a powerful and grounding experience.

You will be asked to decide on a healing intention* before you come to the class. This can be related to healing for your body, for your life goals, or can have a spiritual focus. This is up to you.
A healing intention* is a conscious and purposeful thought or focus aimed at promoting healing—physically, emotionally, mentally, or spiritually. For example, a healing intention might be:
- “May my body regain strength and balance.”
- “I release this pain and invite peace into my heart.”
- “I allow myself to heal from past wounds.”
The key is that the intention is set with clarity, belief, and presence, often as a way to guide mindset, influence behavior, or align with deeper healing processes.
