Hi Yogis,

Wow, wow, wow… what did I do before Shilajit?   I actually know… I seemed to be winding down.  I could see what needed to be done, but I didn’t want to do it.  Now, I am living, and I love it.  What I get done in a day is unbelievable and reminds me of a much younger me.  What is not to like?

I sold out of my first shipment really quickly, and am waiting for Australia post to deliver the next.  If you want to be in the line for the next to arrive, please email me yogafirst2@bigpond.com. $50 for the dropper bottle (50ml) plus $10 ordinary post $13.50 express post.

STUDIO/ZOOM SCHEDULE FOR THIS WEEK
STUDIO: Monday 1pm Hatha, Wednesday 5.30 Restorative, Friday Hatha (I think)
ZOOM: Tuesday 7,3o CCP.  Last nite (Tuesday) was theoretically the last CCP zoom of the “foundation” class, before the start of our new course.
Friday 6.45 Tarot, Saturday 10.30 Introduction to CCP Course email for ID, Sunday CCP Study, Monday Teacher Training – all welcome even graduates, Tuesday CCP study.

Gradually as covid morphs and changes our community schedules,  we will be changing our schedule.  Keep reading the newsletter.

TAP DANCING:  I wanted to move to music, to dance and to have fun, and not having to make a date or a time.  An independent time – the same as ice-skating.  A solitary pastime.  Just me and the music.  I found a place that would teach me (in Bendigo), and I have my first class this Thursday.  I thought it was going to be last Thursday but Covid complications occurred, so I just postponed.  I will let you know how I go, in fact they are talking about a video – I must say I am not sure about that… but we will get there.

TAROT
During covid we started a “make your own tarot deck” class which became an art class.  I would like to start again, you have said you are ready.  I haven’t finished the “Mary” deck and you may have a way to go, even if you want to just make art, then I am up for that.  Please join us. Starting this Saturday (2nd October) at 2pm until 4pm.

Please book, and pay – $50 for 4 classes.  Go to www.yogabeautiful.com.au and click on PayVia PayPal.

CCP.  COMPASSIONATE COMPANIONS (DEATH DOULAS?)

If you have always wanted to do this, here is your opportunity.  Although it is a short course, it is not a course where you can pay, not turn up, and get a qualification at the end.  There are not many requirements (it is only 12 week course most by distance) but taking one out of two zoom classes – Tuesday OR Sunday – is mandatory, although you can take both.

We are making close ties with Funeral Celebrant Associations and will be looking at other groups to work with as we progress, so it will be worthwhile, and a pathway to a new profession.  Funeral Celebrant or Death Doula (or Life and Death Doula).  Or a COMPASSIONATE COMPANION.  First step?  This short course.

AND YOU

I look forward to hearing from you – everything is changing for us all.  We have the opportunity to change, to re-examine our direction, to make sure we are travelling the path that is needed and wanted (not just working for the money).  We only have a short time on earth, and we might as well have enjoyment and fun if we can.  It is not supposed to be all about suffering.

I will see you on the mat
NAMASTE – JAHNE

Hi there Yogis,

What a fabulous weekend.  The weather has been cold here, but sunny (and windy).  I can imagine spring, even if it is not really here.  I went to Church on Saturday and it was almost snowing!  It is what it is.

This week the Chinese celebrate the  Mid-Autumn Festival also known as MOON FESTIVAL or Mooncake Festival, is a traditional festival celebrated by many East and Southeast Asian people. It is the second-most important holiday after Chinese New Year with a history dating back 3,000 years when China’s emperors worshipped the moon for bountiful harvests. Staying true to the original intention of the autumn holiday, which fell this year on Sept. 21 (but don’t be put off by the date… it can be any time until the end of the month).

The Chinese put out a platter of mooncakes as a gift to the moon and lights sticks of incense over them as a show of gratitude for the annual harvest.  They put their best ingredients into the mooncakes, it’s the highest form of respect to the Mid-Autumn Festival.  Some moon-cakes are filled with ham, some with sesame and honey… personably I like mine filled with red bean paste.

SCHEDULE FOR THE WEEK.
STUDIO: Monday Hatha 1pm (full), Wednesday 5.30 Restorative, Friday 5.30 Hatha.
ZOOM: Monday 6.30 Teacher Training, Tuesday 7.30 CCP, Friday 6.45 Tarot, Sunday 10am CCP

SHILAJIT TINCTURE:  I wrote about this last week.  It is wonderful – I have so much energy. As it is from the Himalayas I wonder if the Dalai Lama takes it?  My hearing has improved (I haven’t read about this anywhere else), and there is less hair in my brush in the morning which actually is terrific, I usually lose “enough to stuff a pillow” (my mum’s words).   My students on zoom have been commenting on how shiny my hair is – I don’t have product on it, and Shilajit is the only change.

If you want a bottle I can post it to you.  $50 for the tincture and $10 for postage.  Go to the home page and click on “pay via paypal” (credit cards and debit cards also accepted by PayPal).  www.yogabeautiful.com.au

TAROT MAKING: Saturday 2pm to 4pm (starting Saturday the 2nd October).  You can finish things you have started, you can start something new, you can make oracle cards, or yoga cards…. anything that inspires you, you can even make a vision board if that is what you would like to do.  Please enrol right now by emailing me.  yogafirst2@bigpond.com
THE COST: $50 for 4 classes of two hours per class.

ART:  You are all welcome to join our tarot making/art classes.  I have been painting every day and attach the latest.  I am loving painting ballet dancers feet.  When I have a range I will make cards and prints from them, which will make them very accessible.  I just don’t want to sell  the originals, they are so lovely – like little jewels (and copyrighted to me) so cards will be a good step so you can start a small collection of your own.

If you do want to paint Tea Bags like the ballet shoes to the left, then you will have to prepare the tea bags dry them and iron them before you come to class.  We can go through the process if you don’t have the confidence to do this step.

MASSAGE
With the gentle lifting of restrictions – enough that I can take massage clients within boundaries – no undressing, just the PPT, CHI-SPINAL FLOW, and CHI NEI TSANG and of course our go-to BOWEN.  All of these techniques are done fully clothed and work with the nervous system and not banging about with bones and muscles.   Half an hour $50 and one hour $85.  Half an hour is adequate…useful.  Please make an appointment.  Call to organise a time frame. yogafirst2@bigpond.com

CCP:  COMPASSIONATE COMPANIONS
Our next (LIFE/DEATH DOULA) course starts soon.  To join our information session at 10.30 this coming Saturday morning please email me so I can send you a zoom ID. yogafirst2@bigpond.com

I keep the subject of my enquiry constantly before me, and wait til the first dawning opens gradually, by little and little, into a full and clear light.  ( Sir Isaac Newton – mathematician and alchemist)

WE ARE BACK AT CLASS IN THE STUDIO , AND I WILL SEE YOU ON THE MAT.
NAMASTE – JAHNE

Dear Yogis,

SCHEDULE.
FRIDAY (today): 6.45pm TAROT, SUNDAY 10am CCP
NEXT WEEK (27th……):  BACK TO LIMITED CLASSES IN THE STUDIO.  Monday 1pm, Wednesday 5.30 and Friday 5.30

There is so much to do, and guess what, I am doing it.  Getting back into my old “flow”.  I have had both vax – the first made me feel not well,  almost like Chronic Fatigue Symptoms, and the second vax was a non event – however the tincture that has made the difference, and brought me back from lying on the sofa,  is a Resin called SHILAJIT.

Shilajit is a resin pressed out from layers of rock on cliff of Himalayan Mountains at an altitude above 3000m. It is a decomposed plant materials that is high in humic substances and minerals. Shilajit resin is extracted from these rocks following traditional ayurvedic principles. Fulvic and humic mineral complexes found in purified shilajit contains over 85 vital minerals in the most bioactive form that our body can utilize effectively for optimum health.  Fulvic acid, sometimes termed a ‘Super Cell Conductor,’ may help the nutrients we consume realise their full potential by helping to dissolve them and transport them deep into the tissues.  It can even be absorbed transdermally.

The primary component of shilajit is an antioxidant known as fulfil acid.  This powerful antioxidant contributes to cognitive health by preventing the accumulation of tau protein. Tau proteins are an important part of your nervous system but a buildup can trigger brain cell damage.

Researchers think that the fulvic acid in shilajit may stop the abnormal buildup of tau protein and reduce inflammation, potentially improving even Alzheimer’s symptoms. However, more research and clinical trials are needed.

You can tell why I am so excited…  I am back to my regular self, and even better.  It is like a veil has lifted and I am living full steam ahead.  Wildcrafted Shilajit tincture that I use,  is $50 for 50ml plus $10 postage, although I am recommending EXPRESS POST  which seems to be the only post which is getting through on time.  If you want to try some let me know.  I only have limited supply at the moment, but can get it in quickly and post to you express.

TAROT:  I am canvassing for those people who would like to do TAROT MAKING CLASSES with me on Saturdays between 2 and 4pm.  The cost for 4 classes would be $50.  You can use this time to finish cards you started in our last class, do an oracle/inspiration deck… or just play.   When I have got 4 or more students we will go ahead.

Like a lot of my students (and me), ride through your life on a creative HIGH.  Don’t settle into being an “almost ran”.  Your vision, your creative desires are valuable and I dare you to let them out!  We are all waiting to see what you have made real from your dreams and your imagination.

I WILL SEE YOU ON THE MAT,

NAMASTE – JAHNE.
