Dear Yogis,

It is almost Christmas, there is so much to do and I am just BURSTING with energy.  I have been using my Bach therapies as a spritz on my face twice a day, it is so much more effective for me than under the tongue.  It is not just the energy it is a quiet centredness and of course the bursting out of the skin feeling.  It is so great, especially at this time of the year.  Hope you feel like this too.

I am so looking forward to the little hiatus until the 10th of January and our next classes – I am going to get HEAPS done.  I have made the prints, and am getting a second run printed today I hope.  The images plus 4 extra I am going to put together as an oracle, and some greeting cards.  It will give me a chance to re-do a couple of the images I would like to “tidy up”.  I will finish the “Beaked Fungus” I have been working on first of course.   It has taken many hours as it has been made up of DOTS.  I have totally used up a couple of sets of technical pens.

CHRISTMAS DAY AFTERNOON TEA, etc.

If you are at a loose end on Christmas Day, please come around to my place between 2 and 4.  The usual covid requirements apply of course.  37 Morris Road, Woodend.  Please park ONLY on the white gravel in the front yard, put there especially so you can park safely.   Don’t park in front of the neighbours, they don’t like it.  There is plenty of parking space on the gravel if you do it carefully.

I hope to see you on zoom, or in the studio on or after the 10th January.  I will be putting things on my sites, making changes and adding art.  I will let you know in the newsletters and on instagram and facebook.

One more newsletter and then we are done….for Christmas.

You have so few days left to shop, better get to it.  Think of me in the garden – or join me, I would love to see you.  Make an appointment for a therapy, a tarot, or a tattoo.  I am here   yogafirst2@bigpond.com

COVID.  I was reading this morning that there are long lines at testing stations and not enough of anything.  My advice:  Until you can get tested,  is to take responsibility for yourself.  Be careful not to go into unknown groups, wear a mask when you can, and make sure you are well dosed up with VitC (at least 1,000mg per day), Echinacea, SuperVitD,  and zinc.  I have a air filtration unit with UV light in my house as an extra precaution.  Check on the air currents in your house and make sure there is air flow in the rooms – it doesn’t need to be a wind.  Have a quiet Christmas.

SEE YOU ON THE MAT.

NAMASTE.  JAHNE

DEAR YOGIS

Just one more yoga class to go, and then we are on holidays until MONDAY THE 10TH JANUARY.  This should give you all plenty of time to do modules (those who need to do them).

I am looking forward to the Monday Yoga class at 1pm – our last for the year.

NEXT YEAR (Omicron being held at bay) – this may change slightly, but any updates will be in the newsletter.

STUDIO: Monday 1pm, Wednesday 5.30 and Friday 5.30.

ZOOM
TEACHER TRAINING
Monday 6.30.  First term “The Gita” – $25 per month
NEW STUDIO CLASS: Herbals” Saturday 2pm. Identification/Uses/Medicines/Bach/pendulum Starting 15th January $50 per month. After you have done these tutorials you will be able to save heaps by learning to do things yourself, or a new skill to add to your studio “menu”.  A great addition to the Bach Course now on Etsy www.myyogabooks.etsy.com
CCP: Tuesdays at 7.30. New class starting 18th January.  Students who have done the class previously are welcome to use this as a refresher.
TAROT:  Taking up where we left off.  $50 per month

During Covid and the on-again off-again lock-downs I took our classes from the studio to zoom, and to keep you close and your spirits up – knowing that Covid meant that many were just hanging on financially, I gave free classes where I could.  Now we are through it for the time being, I ask you not to be offended that I am charging –  I too have expenses, and everything has changed.   Apart from CCP where the zoom is part of the course, there is a small charge (less than a Coffee and cake per session)… I hope that you can all understand that, and will keep coming to class. Even Edgar Cayce charged for his time, and my teachers certainly charged for theirs.  I used to have a yoga jar and put coins into it – there was always the right amount for class in there, but I was a devoted student, and loved my  teacher and the classes.

COVID:  Thanks to my students and clients, vaccinated an unvaccinated, I am compiling a regime for any of you who have caught covid and are either managing alone, or in recovery.  Let me know if you would like some guidelines – yoga, breathing, vitamins, herbs.  As usual healing is a team effort – not just one thing.  Not just one jab, not just one way.

THE QUANTUM BACH

In my adventure into BACH FLOWER REMEDIES, I have been combining PPT and BACH, and effectively mimicing the  acupuncture experience. Dr. Shui Yin Lo (The Biophysics Basis for Acupuncture and Health) hypothesizes that both meridians and acupuncture points are made up of “water clusters.”  “A water cluster is defined as approximately 109 water molecules combining to form a ‘cluster’ that is a dipole, i.e., negatively charged on one end and positively charged on the other. When these clusters are stimulated by acupuncture needles, heat, sound (light in the case of flower essences), electromagnetic waves, electric fields, and or sound waves are generated. These waves travel through the meridian to various organs that resonate with similar water clusters in that organ.”

Lynne McTaggert in her book The Field, addresses related concepts in the area of quantum physics, one being that “water acts as the conductor of a molecule’s signature frequency.” In conclusion, according to Craydon and Bellows, “The perfect harmonics of the floral template (Bach Essence) contained in the memory of the water will, through electromagnetic resonance, stimulate the water clusters in the receptive acupuncture point and communicate this information through the meridian system. In this way, the whole body receives vibratory communication and realigns itself to match this template. Profound healing occurs when inner and outer nature harmonize with one another.”

The message is…You don’t have to take it under the tongue.  This is especially important if you have an addiction to alcohol.  I have found the best way for me (and the cat and the plants)  is to put in a small spray bottle and spritz my face and hands, or pulse points.  In the case of plants, I use on trunks, branches or leaves depending on the problem, and the condition of the plant.

You can always email or zoom for your remedy, and I can post your essence to you. $35 including postage.  Better to buy more than one because the postage of $10 per parcel won’t change.

Centaury – Cherry plum – Chestnut bud – Chicory – Crab Apple – Gorse – Heather – Holly – Honeysuckle – Hornbeam – Mustard – Oak – Olive – Pine – Rock Rose – Rock Water – Scleranthus – Vervain – Vine – Walnut – White Chestnut – Wild Oat – Wild Rose – Rescue Remedy (plus: Shungite – Rock Crystal – Amethyst).  All these have been gathered and made from plants in my garden or walking distance to my house and crystals of course.  On the Saturday Classes we will learn how to make these essences and use them.

The First Saturday “HERBAL” we will explore PINE (for self-forgiveness. For those stuck in regret), WILD OAT (For those unable to choose one of many paths, and determine their true vocation), OLIVE (for those who are exhausted on every level).  We will also use these herbs in cooking and in making liqueurs.  Also using a pendulum to help you decide on the herbals.

Be open to new ways of thinking – as Jesus said “Be not afraid for I am with you…” Fear is more debilitating than any disease.

I look forward to seeing you on the zoom or on the mat, soon.

NAMASTE – JAHNE

Dear Yogis,

Here I am and we are deep into Christmas prep. Not me personally – I don’t do Christmas.  I think it is a device organised by big business to get you to spend money.  So go ahead – spend if it makes you happy.  There are a lot more, longer lasting ways to get happy I have to say.

Making art makes me happy – and I am pleased to have finished the fungi poster “FABULOUS FUNGI” which will be printed on Thursday.  I will put it on etsy as a printable (ready to frame)  and as a hard copy.

Are you into the Victorian Tree and all the glitter? One of my clients does her house to look like a Christmas card, and it does.  There must be a design plan – every year is more particular, more Hollywood than the last.  It is beautiful, if you like living in a movie set – any minute Jo March is going to walk in the door and call for “Marmee”.  (Maybe like my mum she was waiting for a Royal visit).  Life happens around this very complex Christmas Tableaux.  But as I said.  Not at my place.  I have beautiful free time, almost like Covid, to meet friends who drop in, work in the garden (I have got seeds, mulch and potting mix all ready), write, and of course – DRAW- and go almost nowhere.

THE BACH FLOWERS

Working on these remedies for persons, animals and plants is taking up all of my head space – although I do have some wonderful new clients thanks to some success. You probably think I have gone nuts, but no, it’s just that the “nuts” is showing.  I have been working on the fringes of Bach Therapies for many years.  I used them mostly for myself, and my household (and plants).  Since I have qualified as a therapist and trainer – Covid gave me the time – I have been doing more and more.

I have been getting more deeply into how Bach and yoga fir together (although one never knew the other).  I have written a short course on Bach Therapies , the basics from which you can branch out into other areas….animals, plants.  This CERTIFICATE course is under $55 on Etsy – A Christmas gift to you “THAT KEEPS ON GIVING” www.myyogabooks.etsy.com. It fits really well with CCP if you have done that.

For Bach, the real cause of disease is a distortion of the wavelength in the energy field in the body (the koshas). They slow down, exerting an effect that results in negative states of mind such as worry, fear, anxiety and impatience.  These negative states so deplete the individuals vitality, that the body loses its natural resistance and becomes vulnerable to infection and illness.  Like Hahnemann therefore, Bach believed that the patient should be treated rather than the disease, and the cause rather than the effects.

Hahnemann (the Father of Homeopathy and the man who influenced Bach to pursue Flower Therapies) said:  Disease will never be cured or eradicated by present materialistic methods, for the simple reason that disease in its origin is not material.  What we know as disease is an ultimate result produced in the body, the end products of deep and long acting forces, and even if material treatment alone is apparently successful, this is nothing more than temporary relief unless the real cause has been removed. (1931 p.6.)

Bach’s research led him to conclude that positive, healthy states of mind could be restored by the energies found in flowering trees, plants, bushes and special waters.  He considered his remedies to be a complete system of treatment requiring no “Extension or Alteration”.

LET US ALL BE LIKE THE LOTUS, UNAFFECTED BY THE MUD.  DO THE COURSE!

I will see you on the mat sometime

Namaste – Jahne
