Hi there yogis,

An eventful week as always.  Exhibitions booked for new year, so today I had to prepare tea bag papers for another workaholic weekend.

As The Tea and Tarot Lady  (Jahne) I have been conducting Tea Leaf Reading for years. My clients come from all over Australia to visit (sometimes even further than that). So next time you are in Woodend, or at The Art Market, why not book ahead for a unique Tea Leaf Reading experience with me.

My parents always said that there was nothing like a good cup of tea, and I think mum had 16 and that was just in the morning.   She believed tea promoted mental wellbeing, emotional stamina and intelligence, feeding the heart, the soul and the mind, and she liked it.

Thanks to my mum and her sisters  I have learned much about reading the tea leaves and cards.  Throughout my journey, I have met and become very dear friends with some pretty amazing human beings my students, teachers, graduates and my clients included! Each session is such an inspiration.

I can read for singles, and for groups (Engagements, Bridal parties, birthdays, anniversaries…).  To enquire, and/or make a booking, please email me at yogafirst2@bigpond.com

My JHWilliams website is still in the doldrums, but you can look at YOGABEAUTIFUL.COM.AU for everything yoga.  I have not stopped my classes. After all these years, Yoga is in my cells.

Namaste – Have a lovely week.

I still have not isolated the problem with the jhwilliams website – (I think I have worked out the problem on this site), but we are working on it.  Unfortunately it is all automated, you can’t speak to a real person, so I don’t know if it will be easily resolved.  The techie has been today, and will be working on it.  Possibly I will change to something new and different.  It is a good time to do this.

Today the rose fairy brought me roses and the bread fairy brought me some freshly baked bread.  and…..  the universe is taking good care of me.  I hope you are all well.

Namaste – Have a lovely week.

Dear Yogis,

The new term starts this week.  I have been having trouble with the newsletter hope all goes well this week..

Sunday morning I was on duty at The Mt.Macedon Gallery, where were you?  It was cold, windy, it was quiet, and it was the first day of daylight saving..maybe you slept in.  I put some more tiny drawings on unfurled tea bags on the wall.  I have learned that I love using fruit tea tea bags – the fruit teas make the most beautiful stain. I also have made quite a few cards of the drawings… so you can also frame these.  They are a bit bigger than the originals, but you will recognise the characters.  Thank goodness others like them too.

My preoccupation has been with the drawings (and the person) of Beatrix Potter.  She started her professional drawing life as a scientific illustrator, and then moved into drawing animals, letting the fungi drawing drop away when recognition for her work just was not forthcoming.  I started as a scientific illustrator so I understand how hard it was for me to enter, and how incredibly hard it was for her.  BP’s painting look simple, but they are borne out of close observation of animals from a young age.  They look simple, but capture the essence of the subject – I hope that I can do them justice.

Next year I have exhibitions here there and everywhere…  to get my tea bag art on the map.  I think other are painting on tea bags, but I have moved on to unfurling the paper and preparing that them using that for pen and ink drawings, coloured with watercolour.  I have many inspirations….  I have started work on  “MY DRAGONS OF MELBOURNE” (in the Beatrix potter style and on tea bags) inspired by the CBD tour hosted by Carole Wilkinson.

Do plan to come to the gallery soon.  I will be at the gallery on Saturday, and the spring exhibition will be in full swing and you can come along… OR – If you want to get ahead of the field, email me and I will let you know when my preview is at my gallery, and when the Mt.Macedon Gallery preview is.  I saw some of the gallery entries from our members – they were surprising and beautiful.
